Villa MyPlaceToBe Moraira

Location and veiws stunning, big pool not for small children. Very large plot, had great facilities. Great sun bed and cushions, table tennis table and even a great gym in garage we didn't use gym but did table tennis. We had to phone agent to come out to help us and man came at 10 pm at night which was fantastic.

On arrival the hot water didn't work, air conditioning didn't work in lounge and main bedroom no information on how to change settings was left on heating, and no batteries in other unit. One bedroom air didn't work. Pool was not ready for us was green round edge and leaves in bottom of pool, and needed topping up. No pool man came till the Monday we arrived Saturday. Then he came filled pool for most of the day. Cleaned green from around edge which left film of green on top of water which stained our clothes. We also had no Internet as phone line broken. Man informed us owner aware so had router but we couldn't find it as it was in its box never used before also had no power cable agent brought lead out to us so we could plug it in. So we had no TV as advertised. Things were fixed but had received an email saying villa was ready for us, obviously no one had checked on these issues 😑

It was a beautiful and spacious home. We love it. Everything was great. We didn’t use the pool as it wasn’t heated but we did use the outdoor kitchen which was great. There were a few things missing when we arrived but the agent/host sorted it out for us quickly.

Fantastic to have your own pool, and the children loved the gym. The house itself was comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the outside seating and the number of tables inside. Quiet area with a very easy drive to shops and the beach.

We were disappointed with Vamdays. The basics you would expect renting a house for a week were not present: despite having five sinks there was no handsoap, there was no washing up liquid, no cloths, no tea towels, no dishwasher tablets. Of course there was no oil or vinegar. When we told Vamdays all this they said they would send a 'starter pack' but they did not. In addition we struggled to work out how to turn off some lights and asked them. They never got back to us. Eventually we found the switches hidden behind a curtain. There were a lot of mosquitoes when we were there - swarms. Nothing you can do about that though - it is close to a forested park. There were some noisy dogs in the park being walked. We had one visit from the pool man in the week, who left the hose on to the swimming pool when he left (we turned it off), and an entire morning was taken by the gardeners.

Het uitzicht en de ruimte

Wij waren met twee studerende kinderen die bezig waren met hun eindwerk en deadlines te halen hadden. Voor ons was wifi ontzettend belangrijk en een van de redenen dat wij deze accommodatie gekozen hadden. Echter de vorige gasten hadden het wifikastje meegenomen. Hier kan het agentschap niets aan doen, maar de afhandeling hiervan was diep triest. Wij kwamen op vrijdag aan en pas dinsdag was de wifi geregeld, onze week zat er toen al bijna op. Dit heeft veel stress gekost die echt onnodig was. De kosten die wij hierdoor extra gemaakt hebben, hebben we nog steeds niet helemaal terugontvangen. Hiernaast was het appartement ook niet schoon, De decoratie en gordijnen zijn echt heel stoffig. Als je hier gevoelig voor bent, loopt je constant te niezen en krijg je rode ogen. Wij zaten daarom bijna alleen maar buiten.
