What a great place to relax after a day of Island hopping! This roomy home on a quiet street with no thru traffic was just what we were looking for. We especially loved the observation deck above the roof! We had zero problems with anything in the home and Jekyll Realty was there every step of the way.

We did not start out in Roanoke but due to a washer problem at our first property, you offered us this one. We loved it. What a wonderful view of the ocean and the deck is just awesome. We were moved into Roanoke by the rental agency when repairs being made to our original reserved property weren't done in time for our reservation.
Roanoke was a very nice property, probably better suited to 2 full size pick up trucks, trailers and 5 Harleys. The deck was fantastic for AM coffee, the bedroom/bath layout was also very nice and the covered parking was perfect for the motorcycles.
We were so pleasantly surprised to be visited almost nightly by several of the island's deer, access to the beach was beyond convenient and the owner's extensive library of hard and paperback books was just so nice.
Our only issue was, while understanding the requirement to bring our own linens, there weren't even kitchen towels provided for hand washed items or a bath mat in any of the bathrooms. This was very disconcerting due to the bathroom floors being very sticky. This may have been due to poor cleaning practices in general, or good cleaning and just bad rinsing of cleaning products. But overall a pleasant week was spent and we'd recommend Roanoke and the rental agency again.
