AMH Hotel - Greenford Station

Overall well managed, clean and tidy

Everything was good and the room was clean and tidy…

There was no soap and shampoo in the bathroom

The room is ideally located for both bus and train travel, being very close to Greenford railway station and nearby bus stops. This makes commuting to my workplace extremely convenient

My room was located on the second floor and felt quite small. The staircase leading to the room was also very narrow, almost like a ladder, which made access a bit inconvenient. The room had very few power sockets, making it difficult to charge my laptop, tablet, and mobile devices. The bathroom was also quite small. Additionally, no housekeeping or room cleaning was provided during my stay

It is next to the tube station and close to a bus stop.

The room was not cleaned properly. The floors and shower were dirty. I booked the room for 2 guests, for 2 nights but, on arrival, there was only 1 towel and half a toilet paper roll available. I have messaged the host to ask for a second towel and extra toilet paper. They did not deliver straight away and I had to chase them again for the toilet paper, later in the evening. They did deliver on the day, but those things are the bare minimum that you do when preparing a room for your guests, alongside cleaning it. They clearly do not pay attention to how they leave the rooms for new guests. We were there during a heatwave so it was extremely hot in the room. There was a fan in there but it was not enough. The room needs AC to be bearable. The street outside is very loud during the night and we had to have the windows open the whole time for ventilation, so not ideal. Avoid this place in the summer months, the heat and noise made it a very unpleasant experience.
