Property is recently modernised, clean and comfortable with a large well maintained garden and a good off road parking area if you have a hire car. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and immediately responded to a problem with a water leak during heavy rain by offering us the other vacant apartment so the leak could be fixed. Apartment is conveniently located near to Riviera Beach and the pleasant bay side walk into Praia da Vitoria and a few hundred metres from the best bakery/pastelaria we found in the Azores. Closeness to the airport, roads and (limited) bus routes makes a good base to explore Praia, Angra and the rest of the island.

The apartment is located on a fairly busy road (by Azores standards) with a couple of shops opposite and a small commercial building behind. This was not a problem and we didn't notice any traffic noise in the apartment but it does mean that the views from the apartment are limited and the garden is not very private.
