A magical retreat

Cosy Potet Dijon is an absolute feast for the senses. Housed in a 15th‑century building in the middle of Dijon, it leans into its history to the fullest. The décor is anything but subtle - it’s this wonderfully eclectic mix of antique furniture, books, flowers, patterned rugs, and little curios everywhere you look. It feels like stepping into a beautifully layered home rather than a dressed‑up rental. The living room is especially stunning: a gorgeous chandelier, plush chairs, rich curtains, and all these thoughtful details that make the space feel warm and lived‑in. Even the dishes in the cupboard look like they have stories. The whole apartment just wraps around you in this big, cosy, slightly theatrical hug. And Paul, the host, is as welcoming as the space itself — friendly, attentive, and genuinely delighted to share this magical little corner of Dijon.

Nothing major. It would have been nice to have some travel soaps and extra toilet paper in the bathrooms, to avoid running to the store on the first day. However, there were so many other (very nice and unexpected) things provided, that it didn't seem like a major problem.

Interesting property, good location, but had its problems.

Location was great The place was roomy The place was eclectic and interesting The beds were good

Was not prepared for us (or sheets in the dryer, leftover food in dish in microwave, dishwasher was full, bathrooms were dirty (toilet needed to cleaned before use)/moldy (shower had slimy floor and mold) The male host lovely but also felt it was ok to ring our bell and then try to get in at 230 in the morning, clearly inebriated. As women travelling alone, we found this disconcerting. He apologized but I don’t think there again.

Previous guest checked out late pushing out check in to 1930. We were very tired by this point and did not get to enjoy the property as much as we would have liked to

Amazing and quaint house in the middle of Dijon… a special place with a special experience.. the house was so nice and amazingly homely that we didn’t feel like going out… some special nooks all around… Paul was friendly, polite and very accommodating despite going through some tough times himself..

An eclectic and unique property, perfectly suited for our needs. All amenities are of a good standard and location very walkable for all things to see in Dijon. Secure parking is available not far from the property, 11 euros/day (not across the street). Host Paul is very engaging for assistance on check in/out.

Fit for Kings & Queens in World heritage site

This property was truly exceptional in all respects, from responsiveness of host & their hospitality to standard of internal furnishings, decoration & proximity to UNESCO world heritage site. In fact you would be within it! The spaciousness & cleanliness were outstanding, fit for royalty, a truly memorable experience. Huge thanks to the hosts for their warmth & kindness, feit like a real privilege to stay here.

Wonderful!

Cosy Potet is the most beautiful and tasteful house we ever had as a holiday accomodation. Just being there (with the right touch of (classical) music in the background) is a unique experience. You feel like a rich citoyen Dijonnais somewhere in an indefinite past in this house with a long history. On top of that, you get spoiled with little attentions by the host. Everything is ‘impeccablement’ clean. And the lively city center is nearby. It will be a wonderful memory for the rest of our life.

We were not settled in the house and the reservation was not canceled in the system. The rent was taken off. unpleasant situation. We had to look for a new hotel late in the evening, and then write to support about a refund.

Une maison hors du commun

La maison est incroyable, vraiment hors du commun et hors du temps, c'est vraiment un logement d'exception. Elle est proche du centre ville à pied. Les hôtes nous ont accueilli avec beaucoup de sympathie et gentillesse et avaient dressé la table pour le dîner. Bonus, nos chiens étaient acceptés ! Je recommande !

We hebben genoten van een uitstekende gastvrijheid en een geweldig mooi huis. De accommodatie is schitterend en sfeervol ingericht. Alles is ruim met meerdere vertrekken. Ook geeft het een uitstekende toegang tot de geweldig mooie historische binnenstad van Dijon. We hebben echt genoten. Alles heeft onze verwachtingen meer dan overtroffen.

Verrassend fijne accomodatie en locatie.

Aan alles was gedacht. Heel schoon. Fijne host. Gezellige brocante accommodatie. Stil. Op loopafstand gezellig centrum. Aan overzijde een parkeerplaats waar de auto voor de nacht veilig staat met al je spulletjes indien je op doorreis bent. Kortom, wij komen vast nog terug voor een langer verblijf.

Hébergement atypique très agréable dans le centre-ville de Dijon qui permet de rayonner vers la route des vins.

Logement atypique avec de très beaux volumes, meublé avec goût et raffiné. On peut prendre son café ou thé dans de belles tasses ainsi que toute la vaisselle mise à disposition. Cette maison de ville est très bien située proche du centre-ville et néanmoins très calme. Paul est un hôte très sympathique, avenant et de bons conseils.

Wunderbares Haus, Paul ist extrem nett und hilfsbereit und immer sofort zur Stelle falls man was braucht. Dies ist wirklich eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft! Das Haus ist riesig, mit 4 Stockwerken, ein altes restauriertes Haus. Vielleicht nur als Warnung: es hat viele Treppen. ;) Die Einrichtung ist wunderschön - die Schlafzimmer gemütlich und das Wohnzimmer ist perfekt für einen verregneten Nachmittag daheim. Man ist super schnell überall, da es mitten im Zentrum ist. Merci beaucoup, Paul, c'était magnifique!!

Großartiges Erlebnis, ein Haus aus einer anderen Welt.

Sehr gute Lage, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Herzogspalast entfernt. Ein Haus als Gesamtkunstwerk über 5 Ebenen. Verschwederisch ausgestattet mit hochwertigem Interieur. Man könnte Tage dort verbringen und immer noch neues entdecken. Verbrauchsmaterialien sind in Hülle und Fülle vorhanden. Allerdings sollte man körperlich einigermaßen beisammen sein, es sind schon einige Treppen zu steigen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, man hat das Gefühl, als würde man in einem Museum wohnen oder eine Zeitreise gemacht haben. Die Technik in Küche/Waschküche, Heizung/Klima, Sanitär und Unterhaltungselektronik ist aber auf dem aktuellen Stand. Jederzeit wieder.

Die Vormieter haben den Kaffeefilter nicht entleert, dass war etwas unschön. Alles andere war piccobello.

On a absolument tout aimé. Paul fût un formidable hôte. La maison est encore plus jolie en vrai que sur les photos, les lits sont très confortables et il ne manque aucun équipement pour y passer un très agréable séjour.
