dishonest!

Did not provide washer, even though washer is listed as an amenity. I could not contact property directly (my reservation could not be found on their website), and booking.com did not help either!!!

The only complaint we had was the weather - poured with rain BUT still had a fab time.

Location was excellent, a few short flights of stairs and you were in the middle of Bowness and only a 5 minute walk to the lake. The apartment was just the right size for a party of 4. Internet access was also very good and included in the price! Nice touch was the complimentary cleaning box, saved having to purchase washing up liquid!

Bathroom extractor was not sufficient after a shower (maybe a clean would help). The water was scalding hot - could do with turning down a little.

Beautiful apartment, great location.

Great location, apartment was cosy, beds were very comfy. Beautifully decorated and hosts have made the most of the space. Good range of games to suit all ages too! Easy to find.

Water pressure of the shower was low, but this probably can't be helped. Not sure if the apartment next door is a holiday let or not but the walls are super thin in the living room and main bedroom so you could every conversation, neighbours were laughing/chatting and noisy until 1am which was annoying.

Gardeners one morning were very noisy using a leaf blower in the rain which meant that it went on for ages and woke us all up.

Superb

The location is right next to the World of Beatrix Potter. A very short walk to the lake and many restaurants around. The flat was clean, with everything you need--lots of cooking utensils, a laundry machine/dryer, board games, tv etc. There was also a parking spot up at the main parking lot, which was very convenient. We had a very pleasant experience overall.
