Tall Trees Eco Retreat

The location is beautiful and the birds and wildlife and the hosts (young family like us) are immaculate.

Really great location and very peaceful in amongst the trees!

The only downsize is the steep driveway which is a bit washed out by the rain. However it’s to be expected when staying in a rural location. It wasn’t too much of an issue as we were in a bigger car.

Loved the location, peace and quiet and wild life. The Cottage has all we needed for a great time away. Dave and Victoria are very welcoming and friendly. Can’t wait to visit again!!!

The location is just amazing. The photos simply can't do it justice. You feel completely disconnected from the business of city life and immersed in the beauty of nature. The glow worms were a beautiful treat, and not hard to find. The stars are overwhelmingly beautiful. Even the drive up to the house from Apollo Bay is a wonderful experience.

Our hot water ran out quite frequently. On the first day it ran out while someone was having a shower. My sister sought help and they fixed it very quickly. Unfortunately on the final day too, after simply having run a bath for my son and used hot water for the dishes, the hot water ran out completely. We all had to have cold showers after that as we had about twenty minutes to check out and didn't even have time to go down and seek help. I am sure the owners would have gladly fixed it, but we had to rush off to a wedding and could not wait around.
