The accommodation itself has potential and the location in Apollo Bay was nice. We appreciated that someone came the next day to provide a portable light after we reported the issue.

The balcony light in the BBQ area was not working on our first night. We specifically planned to have BBQ for dinner, but we only had our phone flashlights for lighting. When we contacted the owner asking if someone could replace the bulb or provide a portable light, we were advised to use the indoor stove instead. This was disappointing as we booked the place expecting to use the outdoor BBQ area comfortably. The owner mentioned they would provide a small refund for the inconvenience, but we never received it. The upstairs bathroom door was very difficult to open and close. The upstairs bathroom light works on a motion sensor and kept turning off while showering, which meant we had to step out of the shower just to activate the light again.

Amazing location. Amazing host. Well communicated. Host accomodating. Highly recommend this place. Perfect place for family gateway.

Getting to the second floor was a bit of challenge for kids & to take luggages as stairs were not spacious but manageable.

The property is in a perfect spot to experience being one with nature without compromising accessibility to the main attractions along The Great Ocean Road.

Cannot fault the property and the hosts at all. It was only the gloomy weather that disappointed us during our stay.
