This stylish cottage has three bedrooms including a king-size, a double and a bunk, along with a shower room and a cloakroom. The living areas consist of a kitchen, a dining room, a sitting room with a woodburning stove and a snug with a woodburning stove. Appliances include an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine, and for entertainment there is a TV with Freeview, a DVD player, and WiFi. Outside, there is an enclosed patio with picnic bench furniture, and nearby parking for one car. Sorry, this is a pet-free, smoke-free property. Fuel, power, a starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. You can find a shop, pub and beach within 0.1 miles. Mermaid Cottage is a lovely base for a Cornish holiday. Note: Check-in from 4pm and check-out by 9:30am.

There are numerous small character properties, as well as larger cliff-top retreats, with easy access to the village's numerous restaurants and shops. As the tide recedes, the sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools. There is plenty of parking at the top of the village, and it is a popular tourist destination with many attractions such as the dramatic Doyden Castle, the beautiful Lundy Bay, and the famous Doc Martin's clinic.
