Poplar River Condo 561-563 - Lake Superior - Lutsen, MN

The location was perfect for our family ski trip!

Newer, well maintained, well equipped property. Ample space for our family of five. The views of the lake are spectacular, and extremely close and easy access to Lutsen Mountains (literally at the bottom of Ski Hill Road, just off of Hwy 61). We have stayed at a number of properties over the years during our annual Holiday trip to Lutsen - this was one of the best we've experienced. Clean and comfortable, well appointed, with plenty of space to not feel crowded. Unit(s) were as advertised, though we were a bit unclear that there were 3 separate units - two that were connected, one that was adjacent, on the same level. We eventually figured this out upon arrival - no issues - worked well for our family. The closet full of cards and games was a nice touch, as well as the premium coffee bar and icemaker. We would rent again, and look forward to next year's trip.

Stayed 2 nights with 2 families with teens. Lots of room to spreadout. Nice kitchen area. Great beds and great views!

We were very pleased with the condo(s). We had a group of eight adults sharing three second-floor condos, and the accommodations were very nice. We had room for individuals to get some space when needed, and the central condo had room for all of us to gather. The only hiccups we encountered were related to the water supply, which shut off a couple of times, but the communication and the resolution were both pleasant and speedy. We would absolutely stay there again, both because of the accommodations and because of the proximity to state parks and Grand Marais.
