Gorgeous Pool house 5 min from the beach, shopping and restaurants I

We liked the house very much. It is close to the beach! Everything was clean and we enjoyed the little private pool. Excellent communication with the host. The AC was a bit challenging. It was difficult to get it really cold throughout the whole place but we made it work. Great neighborhood also.

We really enjoyed our week at this lovely home. My husband loved the huge TV. Beautiful clean home in quiet neighborhood. Thanks Carmen! Home just as described. Pool was wonderful. 3 minutes away from beach. I’m probably the only person who didn’t find a shark’s tooth. The evening sunsets were stunning.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the house. The home is beautiful and very clean. The pool seems small at first, but it actually was a nice size and very refreshing everyday. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living space was cozy and comfortable. The property is far south in Venice, closer to Englewood, but it was easy to get around and to Tamiami Trl. Beds were comfortable and having a washer and dryer available to use to stay on top of laundry easily was great for us. The only negatives are that there were only two towels and one washcloth left for us to use. Maybe I missed that I should have brought bath towels but for 3 people, I should not have to share towels and a washcloth everyday. We reuse towels but after two days we had to wash them ourselves to have clean ones. I did bring beach towels with me and we used those for drying off after the pool. I found 2 more washcloths on day 2 but that was it. Second negative, my husbands wheelchair ( and it’s a small one) did not fit through the bathroom doorway or bedroom. We had to improvise to get him to the bathroom and he just slept in the recliner. He cannot walk at all so that was a bit of a bummer. However, I’ll note it is not listed as handicapped accessible, we have a portable ramp that allowed him to come in and out of the house and we are used to doing that. I don’t think this is a negative on the home or owner, just a negative for us and for anyone who might wonder if it would work for them. 9/10 !!

Check in was great Description says “house”but found out someone was also renting the upstairs. Pool pump was extremely loud/broken Finally got fixed day before I left. Few other issues that were taken care of I will say that at the end of this fiasco I did get refunded some of my money back
