Our 2 bedroom unit located on the 18th floor in Tower 4, faces west and has both a beautiful Gulf and Sound view. The sunsets are spectacular as well as the island and Gulf Breeze lights at night. This unit has contemporary furniture, artwork, and great taste. You will love it!!Looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation? The Portofino Resort and Spa on Pensacola Beach is exactly what you are looking for. Situated on 28 acres, the Portofino is directly next to the undisturbed Gulf Islands National Seashore and overlooks the sugar white sand and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. It is isolated from the noise and congestion of busy beach towns, yet it is just minutes away from the shopping and restaurants of the Boardwalk and the historic city of Pensacola.
Imagine waking up every morning to the sounds of waves on the beach and the cool breezes off the Gulf. You can enjoy breakfast on the balcony with panoramic views of the Gulf and Sound. After breakfast, head over to the Lifestyle Center for a workout or massage at the Aveda European Spa and Fitness Center.
You can also take a swim in the indoor Junior Olympic swimming pool overlooking Santa Rosa Bay, or use the two infinity-edge outdoor swimming pools. Eat by the pool or dine inside at the Terra Cotta Restaurant, where they serve both lunch and dinner. You can take a walk along the beach, swim in the Gulf, rent a bike and ride through the National Seashore,or take a tennis lesson from the pro on one of five Rubico clay tennis courts. You can also visit downtown Pensacola, go to the Gulf Breeze Zoo, or visit the Naval Air Museum.
There is a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor grill on the balcony, but since you are on vacation maybe you do not want to cook. The boardwalk is a quick five minute drive that has many restaurants to choose from. You can also take the water taxi/ferry to the boardwalk.
The Portofinos luxury combined with one of the worlds most beautiful beaches will make your vacation a memorable one. This property was beautiful and very clean and neat. We love these condos and have stayed here many times but this is the first time renting a unit from someone we did not know. It was a great expereince. we loved the fact they had beach towels and chairs to take down ot the beach since we fly in and cant bring that stuff. We were only missing a cooler. We bought one and left it but it was not the right season to buy a good one. We will be back again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place!! Kim & Kenny
