what an amazing apartment in the most fabulous location. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms plenty of space for three people to have privacy. Right in the heart of machane yehuda … with the most stunning views over Jerusalem. Full kitchen facilities and laundry were a bonus.

check-in is very late (4PM) and there was no opportunity to negotiate with the owner to store our luggage earlier before we moved in or after we checked out. .. if you need to store luggage there are lockers in the central bus station,  other than this there were no issues and we highly recommend anybody to stay here whilst in Jerusalem 🇮🇱

Location is excellent. Beds comfortable.

Parking was a huge issue. This is what is advertised "Private parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is needed) and charges may be applicable" We received instructions where to park but as we arrived at the apartment we received a text that the parking was no longer available and to seek parking in the vicinity. After a long day this was a shock and we felt we had been mislead. We found parking in a nearby parking garage at a cost of 211 NIS for the 2 days we were there. The apartment was not as clean as we expected and we requested new sheets (which had stains and hair), the bathroom had hair and stains, the toilet wall was splattered with marks, the towels left for us on the beds were wet! and inadequate (2 large towels and 2 hand towels for 4 people), the kitchen utensils were not clean. We informed our host and at about 22.00 a cleaning service lady arrived to change sheets, add towels and do some cleaning so we felt more comfortable staying there. Luckily we had some picnic plates, cups and cutlery from our trip on the way to Jerusalem and mainly used these. The air conditioner in the main room is unbearably noisy. Luckily the June weather was relatively mild and we could do without. If these issues are resolved I would recommend the apartment.
