This is an extremely special place. Attention to detail during remodeling and to the decor cannot be beat. Every detail has been attended to — from quality of linens, pillows and blankets to the level of cleanliness, to a delicious breakfast that includes fresh-squeezed orange juice. We definitely hope to return to Coimbra and this place would be one reason why.
Can’t think of a thing.

Lovely guest house. Breakfast is in a shared kitchen with other guests - help yourself and make yourself drinks, with the owners topping up. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Greeted on arrival by owner who gave us a map and highlighted points of interest. This was brilliant and helped us to orientate ourselves quickly for a 2 night stay. We were also given recommendations for restaurants and these were excellent.
Coimbra is hilly and it is a walk down a steep hill to the town - but we are used to hills and this was not an issue for us.
Our room was on the ground floor by the front door and there was some coming and going one night in the early hours which disturbed us a bit - but would not put us off staying again.

Beautifully renovated old house. Immaculately clean!!! Beautiful outdoor area and indoor common lounges. Walking distance to town or a 4-7 Euro bolt trip. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with lots of options. Very friendly and helpful hosts!

The breakfast was first class, very fresh, with plenty of choice and eell presented. The location is good, near enough to the centre, but not too busy, and with lovely restful gardens.
The hosts were very welcoming, engaging and helpful.
