The Bearded Goat Den - A rural retreat at this modern holiday cottage

It's an excellent rural peaceful retreat just as stated, would highly recommend it

Location, atmosphere, parking, environment, excellent shower, comfortable bed, nice kitchenette, in very good state of repair, quiet.

Great location, close to the New Forest. Amazing outdoor space for our puppy, which I think they should highlight more on their ad. Slightly on the small side though; the images are slightly misleading.

No sharp knife or washing up liquid. The door to the bedroom was slightly broken, meant that even when closed our dog could push through it (the latch doesn’t work) which was slightly annoying!

Bed and pillows were comfortable. En-suite was good but small and tiny sink.

Didn’t match the advertising photos. Weeds waist high everywhere on property. No instructions for anything on property just a board on wall for Wi-Fi code which couldn’t activate, had to travel 5 miles to local supermarket to enable us to call owner who didn’t pick up for a while. No microwave, it wasn’t replaced until we asked, 2 plate hob next to sink with no counter space for cooking, just a few old cooking utensils with 2 old saucepans the handle of one dangerously loose and hard stained white towels again we asked to be replaced. A health a safety issue was a missing handle the bedroom side of the door which one closed could not be opened from that side.
