This place is so stinking cute. The bed was super comfortable.
Maybe I'm just new to Airbnb type lodging, this is my first time. The day before check out, I got a lengthy note about all the chores that needed to be completed prior to departure. I guess for over $300/night, I don't want to have to take out the trash to the street, laundry and dishes. Had I known this up front, I would have felt that at least I was making an informed decision. But day before check out, we had to end our visit with our friends early to get out chores done and still leave early the next morning.

Clean and Unique and Treasured = Unforgettable
The outside approach to this fantastic basement is uninspiring. The noise of walking on the ceiling is a distraction. The beautiful kitchen window could use some privacy beads or cute wooden shutters or some whimsical treatment to shut out the view of the human world.

The decor was amazing, plenty of room, comfortable beds, Hobbit-themed movies and games.
The driveway was a challenge, but worked out ok.
