Great small hotel for our one-night stay in Porto. The area is nice, without the crowds of Bolhao and Ribeira. Super quiet at night, and the patio was lovely for doing some laptop work!

The room has very little floor-space, so it was very tight with our two open suitcases. The toilet/sink room is also tiny, with only enough space for one person. Much better for a solo traveller than a couple. I also wish we didn’t have to order breakfast by 9 pm the night before, because we weren’t sure yet if we’d be able to make it. I tried to go for breakfast without having ordered, but the breakfast had closely early (I guess everyone who pre-ordered was finished).

This is an absolute gem. From the quaint blue traditional tiles on the outside to the beautifully designed restful rooms. Great location with good access to metro and metro bus. Great breakfast. Love the digital check-in. Very attentive owner and staff - messages answered quickly and a great balance of advice/suggestion’s without being over bearing. Loved it

Nothing - it’s a gem.

The rooms with the decor, the cleanliness and the facilities, especially the size was exceptional. We couldn't have found a room this size in the old town. The property was well kept, the common areas were clean and well lit.

However, the location is so not ideal. No matter what the reviews say, it is extremely difficult to get to without Uber/car. Public transport involves a 10/15 minute walk and then a 15/20 minute ride to the old town, which is avoidable for a tourist. For purposes other than tourism, this place would be perfect, but for a first timer in Porto, it's a nightmare to find it and make the way in without a reception, and a lift as well. However, I have to appreciate the host/owner who very kindly helped us with our bags. This place is a beautiful cozy stay but definitely not ideal for tourists as it's too far from Porto Old Town.
