São Gonçalinho Alegria by Home Sweet Home Aveiro

We had a wonderful stay in São Gonçalinho! The accommodation was excellent, and all facilities were exactly as described. The location is great - right in the heart of the historical center, close to the canals with the Moliceiro boats, and the Aveiro Forum, with plenty of cozy places nearby to taste local dishes and have a drink while enjoying the view. What really made our stay unforgettable, was the host. Beatriz is the best host you could ever wish - more than helpful, incredibly responsive, and always ready with useful advice whenever needed. Thank you very much - we will surely stay here again on our next trip to Aveiro!

There wasn't anything that I disliked.

Beatrice was wonderful, she kept in good contact with me all the way through the booking and on arrival day came and meet us. She also recommended some great restaurants and places. The apartment was great for our stay

If the owner could buy some new pillows that would be great but just a small thing.

The flat was very cosy, had everything we needed- even washing machine. The balcony was amazing, offering nice views of the old town. The flat looks even better in real life

Excelente ubicación, céntrico, con todos los servicios cerca para conocer Aveiro y en zona tranquila además la cama es cómoda, algo importante estando de vacaciones. Por estos motivos no le doy una valoración más baja.

Alojamiento con escasa equipación ( cubertería, cristalería, no había tostador quizá porque había una sandwichera…no había escoba, ni una fregona por si hubiera que recoger algo) Con plantas artificiales grandes para decorar que lo único que hacen es ocupar espacio en un lugar reducido. El baño es pequeño, y no te dejan toalla para salir de la ducha. Dispone de un armario grande en la habitación pero no tiene baldas, había exactamente tres perchas, así no te puede dar servicio. La terraza tiene mobiliario pero sin sombrilla ni otra protección para el sol, no te permite darle uso ni por la noche pues la luz de fuera no funcionaba. Hay un tendedero pequeño pero no te dejan pinzas de la ropa, igual, había tres y dos de ellas estaban rotas…No cuenta con aire acondicionado, Aveiro no es un lugar caluroso pero si te tocan días de calor (tuvimos un par) no le vendría mal, es una ático y todo el día le pega el sol. Hemos estado bien pues estas de vacaciones pero si volvemos a Aveiro no repetiremos.
