Chalet 4 personnes Morzine

The chalet itself is nicely laid out with nice views. Feels like good value for a week for a family. Secure garage for bike storage was great.

Really I would have offered a higher rating but there were little things which could be improved. One of these is that while there were some very small shower toiletries, other provisions were lacking for the level of money paid. There was only one toilet roll, there were no dishwasher tablets, no refuse bags, two of the hand soap dispensers were empty, the shower head had a leak in it etc. It is a bit irritating to have to go out and buy these on the first day you arrive. A few extra toilet rolls, 7 dishwasher tablets and some bin bags would make a bit of a difference for a very small cost. The distance into town in terms of mileage isnt much but it is up a hill. There is a free bus, but if you miss it, this isnt a flat walk! It didnt bother us but its worth noting if people have fitness or mobility issues. The wifi password involved a bit of hunting around to find the router, all instructions were in French but even with translate it didnt seem to be written down. The only other thing is the security deposit which needs to be paid in cash. This feels pretty pointless, especially when the host turns up two days before you leave to hand it back and didnt even inspect the property. We had to shift arrangements around for an evening to accommodate and also lost money transferring the cash back to GBP. It would be better to have some kind of online arrangement. I can understand the point of it, but the current system doesnt feel practical.

Wat een vriendelijk onthaal door de eigenares. We reserveerden al verschillende malen een chalet in de Alpen, nog nooit voelden we ons zo welkom ! We kregen alle nodige uitleg over de chalet en de omgeving, met een drankje in de hand. Chalet heeft alle nodige voorzieningen, 2 terrassen, waarvan altijd eentje in/uit de zon. Veel gerief om te koken, goede bedden Garage aanwezig Perfecte locatie om Morzinne te bezoeken, niet ver van skilift om bergwandelingen te starten Dichtbij winkels (1,5 km)

Well equipped chalet in great location a short ( 3 min) walk from free ski bus service to Morzine centre in one direction and to les Prodains for Avoriatz in the other.

The only tiny gripes was that I Couldn’t pay the security deposit by card had to be cash which meant we had to go back out to bank on arrival - to be fair i perhaps should not have assumed we could pay by card .
