La Clé Vue Mer, Clim, Terrasse, Parking à Hyères

L'appartement est grand, confortable, bien équipé, calme et très bien situé. La vue étant un sacré plus. Le parking est hyper pratique.

The apartment is nice and spacious, and well-maintained. The terrace is large and sunny and offers a beautiful view on the sea and the Iles d'Hyères. It is really nice to see the sun rise above the islands while drinking your morning coffee. The bathroom is modern and clean and the kitchen is well-equipped. The garage in the basement is very useful too. The place is exactly as shown in the photos. Everything shows that the owners use the apartment themselves and that they take good care of it.

The only downside for me was that the apartment is on a hill outside the centre of Hyères. Because of this, it is quite a walk to the city (40 minutes) or even the bakery (15 minutes), so you really want to use your car quite often. It is exactly where it is shown on the map though, so I knew this beforehand.

The location was super, nice sea views. The apartment was quite big so lots of space.

The beds where not so comfortable as well as the couch.

Its positioning at the top of Parc de la Luquette allowed for great views of the sea & town. Clean & tidy but felt a bit sterile.

Communication wasn’t great with this property…it was done through a 3rd party company where you had to login & register….the experience was very impersonal and messages took over a day to be returned. Having arranged a meet to pick up the keys I received a message an hour before the meeting to say that they could not make the pick up as they now needed to be in Toulon!!! Luckily we were ahead of time as we were visiting family who live in Parc de la Luquette so managed to get there early…but not good enough.We were staying for a week over Christmas & very few basics were left in the appt…. 2 dish washer tablets, little coffee, olive oil etc….while I don’t expect a huge supply of condiments…. for the price you are paying you’d expect more. The sliding doors to the balcony were obviously quite old & loose as there was a huge screeching sound when the wind picked up(which it did) we had to leave the door slightly ajar to stop the noise. I’m sure this isn’t a problem in Summer as you’d have them open but it was Winter!!! We stay in many places travelling to & from France and the management of this place seems to have been handed over to a third party…and it feels just like that….impersonal and for the price lacks the personal touch. To cap it off the maid was 20 mins late picking up the keys….
