Welcome to your private Lake Champlain escape! This spacious, pet-friendly lakefront home in South Hero sleeps up to 10 guests and is perfect for family vacations, couples’ trips and weekends with friends. Set in the heart of the Champlain Islands, the home offers plenty of space to relax and play while remaining within walking distance of South Hero’s restaurants, shops and walking paths.
OUTDOOR LIVING
The large, fenced-in backyard leads to the lake and offers plenty of room for children and dogs to play. Enjoy a game of badminton, relax in one of two hammocks, or unwind in a variety of sunny and shaded spots throughout the yard.
A spacious waterfront deck provides a natural gathering place, with outdoor seating, a grill and a private hot tub overlooking Lake Champlain. Head down to the seasonal private dock for swimming, fishing, relaxing and taking in the beautiful lake views. Bringing your boat? A tender is available for convenient access to your moored boat on the provided hazelett mooring. Please bring your own life jackets.
After a day on the water, rinse off in the private outdoor shower, then gather around the outdoor cauldron for cooking, s’mores and time together under the Vermont sky.
INSIDE THE HOME
Screened windows bring in the Vermont breeze and frame beautiful views of the lake. The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals for a group, while the spacious living and dining areas make it easy to gather together. Board games are provided for relaxed evenings at home.
Traveling with little ones is easier here, too! The home includes a Pack ’n Play, high chair, baby gate for the stairs, and a rocking chair to help make your stay more comfortable. Bringing your furry companion? A large dog crate is also available for your convenience.
The home has three full bathrooms, laundry facilities and a mini-split air conditioning unit upstairs. The downstairs sleeping area is equipped with ceiling fans and standing fans for added comfort.

Please be aware that lake levels change, and generally drop as the Summer season progresses, with the lowest levels in late August and into September.

For the past three years, this Lake Champlain home in South Hero has been our little tradition while our daughter’s been away at college—and it’s become such a special place for us.The location is perfect—peaceful and right on the water, but still an easy drive to Burlington when we want to explore. The house itself is everything you hope for in a getaway: clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with plenty of space to relax. The views of the lake never get old.It’s clear the owners have put a lot of care into making this a welcoming place to stay, with great amenities and everything we needed to feel at home. We always leave feeling refreshed and already looking forward to coming back.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic escape on Lake Champlain.

The house was perfect. It was well equipped and appropriately sized to house a large group. It was very clean. The lake views are stunning-especially from the hot tub!

This entire experience was perfect. The host was extremely welcoming and responsive. This house is amazing! There was plenty of room and it felt like a home. It was very clean and the views were spectacular! We would LOVE to come back someday.
