About this house rental
This pet friendly lakefront home offers the best of both worlds: easy access to the water and a convenient location! Rock in the porch chairs or soak in the private hot tub! Inside the home, the kitchen is fully-equipped for preparing meals for large families. All three private bedrooms have lake views and are perfect for couples, while another open bunk style room has a queen bed, and two twins. It's a nice walk to the village of South Hero, or just across the grassy yard to the lakefront.
A great , big family freindly place, available year round! Fantastic lakefront, nice dock for kayaking or swimming. Fishing, too. A half hour to Burlington, hour and a half to Montreal. And great snow skiing within an hours drive also. And after a big day out, relax with a beverage in the hot tub.
This whole property, minus the garage, is your to enjoy!
I live here in the Islands, so am available most of the time!
Please be aware that lake levels change, and generally drop as the Summer season progresses, with the lowest levels in late August and into September.
Sometimes it's not low at all!
Minimum age to rent this home is 24

Gorgeous location accessible to the Island Line Bike Trail and several restaurants/breweries in the town center. The property was clean and welcoming and the views were breathtaking.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful location. We spent a lot of time fishing from the dock and floating in the clear water. The well equipped kitchen and outdoor grill made cooking for our large family a breeze.The house was very clean and the yard was nicely maintained with beautiful flower beds. The only downside to the stay was that the downstairs with the 2 bedrooms and bunk room were pretty warm, even with fans, as only the main floor had air conditioning. It was great that there were a few small stores near by where we could grab necessities without having to drive too far. We made a lot of great memories and would love to vacation there again.
