Tucked away to the side of the living space is a TV snug with a sliding door, ideal for cosy movie nights or a quiet space for kids to play while adults enjoy dinner. A mezzanine area above the living space doubles as a study and a quiet reading nook with views to the front and back of the house.

The Brackens offers three ground-floor bedrooms, making it ideal for guests who have difficulty with stairs and for families with toddlers. The principal bedroom and the second bedroom both feature king-size beds, while the third bedroom has twin beds. A patio wraps around the entire house, offering space for dining or relaxing while listening to the sounds of nature and the waves. A little path winds through the garden. We stayed at The Brackens for 5 nights over Christmas. It was a wonderful property, with views that we never tired of looking at. The house was clean, spacious, comfortable and in a great location. The kitchen was very well equipped and with plenty of space to cook a big, festive dinner. All of the towells and bed linens were of very good quality and the beds were very comfortable. The garden at the back was a wonderful place for our dogs to explore. In the evenings we sat outside in the peace and quiet, watching the stars. We can highly recommend a stay at The Brackens.

The Brackens is a gem of a house both inside and out , the inside furnishings offer comfort and little nooks to chill and relax in. The outside offers a wild space that blends with the further environment offering different areas to sit and relax and to take in the changing views .If you want a house that will help you unwind , relax and leave for home feeling refreshed then the Brackens is the house for you . We loved it so much we rebooked for next year ,thank you Angelsey Lettings for a wonderful house and excellent customer service .

We had a lovely stay at the Brackens the location is spectacular, peaceful and relaxing. My only suggestion would be that the outdoor furniture could do with replacing. It is rather well worn with the screws falling out and not comfortable to sit on and take in the view..we used our beach chairs instead!!

We did not find a "Luxury property set within a beautiful rewilded garden". It found an uncomfortable property set within a neglected garden ... where footpaths and ponds are no longer visible. You have to fight your way through waist high docs, ferns and nettles avoiding decaying dog poo other owners presumable failed to find due to the overgrown mess of the garden in order to locate the gate for the beach. Google maps show a rewilded garden with visible footpaths but this is not the case on the ground. One of our guests nearly fell in the pond as it was not visible. This property is not "comfortably furnished". Bedrooms are not "king-size rooms" but very small, no furniture other than a bed and side units. The "Principle" bedroom has a piece of wood as a shelf and basic school type chair for a dressing table, this is not "luxury", All the beds are so hard and seriously uncomfortable you'd be better off sleeping on the kitchen table. Having read previous reviews, the owner must surely be aware of the issues with the beds, The bedding is not luxury, duvet is too small for the covers and pillows are hard and not at all flexible. The property was not well cleaned and our teenage son found thick layers of dust on furniture where he was able to draw pictures in the dust. Outside there are several garden storage boxes but they don't have any garden cushions in just dead party balloons and old shoes. The garden table and chairs are old, 2 varnished 3 not all 5 dirty. The view is wonderful but it's not peaceful. We had three days of three sperate neighbours mowing their lawns which seemed to go on for hours. Two of the neighbours have barking dogs who bark at the sight of humans, boats birds and migrating rabbits from the neglect garden. So it was very noisy indeed. Anglesey Lettings were helpful allowing us to leave our boat at the property for some extra hours. But the "complimentary essentials to get your holiday started the right way" was an insult. The complimentary essentials were 2 black bin liners and 2 toilet rolls ! Bin liners and toilet rolls and basic essentials should be provided anyway. Milk and one or two items of local produce is what we usually receive from other Agents. I would advise anyone to look at Penrhyn Barn Dulas instead. Now that's luxury and comfort with a wonderful local hamper on arrival. We would not book again.
