About this apartment rental
The contemporary and cosy loft is the perfect spot to spend your holidays in the city of Chania! The loft is located in the beautiful and lively neighbourhood of Dikastiria, where all necessities can be found within 5-10 minutes walking distance: bakeries, butchers, supermarkets, pharmacies, cafés, bars, restaurants, and even a hospital and clinics.
Located at the end of a small alleyway in the back of the residential building, the loft is a very quiet place to stay, with its own private entrance and patio, where you can sit, relax, and enjoy your meals in peace under the shaded tent.
The 135 sqm air-conditioned loft, decorated in a minimalist and contemporary style by the owner, consists of a large open area of 93 sqm, which includes a large and fully-equipped kitchen, a cosy lounge area with a large sofa, and a separate TV lounge with a large TV and the sofa bed. Wi-Fi is available throughout the loft.
The bathroom, renovated in February 2023, is fitted with an Italian-style shower, a toilet and wide wash basin cabinet.
Two bedrooms, both fitted with double beds, a large wardrobe and remote-controlled roller shutters, can host 4 people. The large convertible sofa bed located in the TV lounge, which opens up as a 160 cm bed, can host another two people.
The separate laundry room is equipped with a washing machine, iron & iron board, as well as a vacuum cleaner.
Free parking is available in the street right outside, and paid parking 400m away.
Downtown, Old town and the Venetian harbour of Chania are very easily reachable by walking (15-20 minutes). On your way to Old town, a 500m walk along the sea, is the district of Koum Kapi with its small beach where you can swim or enjoy the drinks & food at one of the many cafés and restaurants where locals and tourists mingle. A little further down the sea shore, you will find the Venetian harbour and Old town.
The Dikastiria district is also very well connected by public transport with many bus lines stops right on Eleftheria square, located 5 minutes by walk from the loft. From there, the city's main bus station is reachable within 5 minutes by bus, or a 20 minutes walk. In the city's main bus station, you will find buses to the other cities of the island: Rethymno, Iraklio, etc. as well as the famous beaches of Elafonis and Balos.
From the Cinema Attikon bus stop, 300 meters away from the loft, you can find the bus that will take you directly to Chania airport within 20 minutes.
