This spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom Sparrow Pond Cottage accommodates up to 6 guests in comfort and style. A true home away from home, this Kiawah Island cottage boasts a screened porch, a furnished wraparound deck, a community pool, and coastal-inspired interiors.
This Kiawah Island cottage is beautifully decorated with a spacious living area full of comfortable seating and an open floorplan. The dining area is located just off the living area with seating for 6. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including high-end appliances, granite countertops, and all the comforts of home.
The primary bedroom offers a king size bed and en-suite full bathroom. The second bedroom is also furnished with a King bed and newly added en-suite with a glassed in shower. The third bedroom includes two twin XL size beds and uses a 3rd full bath just outside the door in the hallway.
The front porch features comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy the tranquil wooded views. The wraparound deck features a designated outdoor dining area, as well as an outdoor shower, perfect for cleaning off the sand after a day at the beach! Beach access is located just a short walk down the quiet, twisting road that takes you through the beautiful oak trees and pine trees of Sparrow Pond.
The Sparrow Pond Cottages are island vacation rentals set in a serene setting near West Beach Village. Take a scenic stroll through the oaks and pines to Kiawah Island’s 10 miles of beautiful beaches, enjoy hours of family fun in the community pool and discover the best of Kiawah Island from this central location. West Beach Village is located nearest to Kiawah Island’s main gate and is situated around the Cougar Point Golf Course and Clubhouse. West Beach is Kiawah’s oldest neighborhood with meandering boardwalks, mature maritime forests and a charming, Lowcountry island vibe.
You’re an easy walk to the beach, a bike ride away from Freshfields Village, The Sanctuary Hotel, Night Heron Park and Kiawah Island’s world-class golf courses and tennis, and a short 40-minute drive to historic downtown Charleston.
Pool Access: Guests have access to the Duneside/Sparrow Pond Community Pool only (Apr-Oct). Please note this property has NO resort pool access.
Beach Access: Beach access is via Boardwalks 1 and 2.

The house was very nice and perfect for our group. Beach access was good. You will need bikes to get around the area.

This property has been very well maintained and updated. The kitchen is well stocked. The walk to the beach or pool were as advertised in length/distance. Check-in and out were easy. I would rent here again for a similar group or trip with no hesitation.

Place is older but nice with beautiful porch off the back. Very private with lush palms between houses. Beach access is tricky because of the alligators which were visible just steps away from path. There is another option around the other side of the pond but is much longer. Overall, good place for the value.
