Beachside Vacation Suite in beautiful White Rock, BC, Canada

Modern, close to everything.

Property is good but wasn't clean and there were no extra supplies. we had to call Jim (Host) for supplies. Floor and washrooms were not clean as expected. Jim is nice and tried to help as much he could. Internet connection was weak maybe because of basement. It was hard for us to carry our luggage from stairs.

I enjoyed being serenaded by the host. The piano playing was delightful. The accommodations were comfortable and in a good area. Walking distance to the ocean, wonderful.

Amazing property new condition close to Beach!

What a great place to stay. Jim lives upstairs with his family and would respond to our requests or questions in a prompt time. He brought was a few extra chairs to sit on for outside when he noticed we hung out on the patio. The place is few blocks from the busy White Rock pier and shops and great restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great place for a few days with a small family in the Vancouver area.

The place was pretty clean and a great location. Could use some more dishes. Master bed was really hard but second bed was great. Ice maker in fridge didn’t work. Property manager was easy to contact and overall experience was great.

Rental was very clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay again!

The property is nice and newer construction. However, it wasn't as clean as it should have been (there was a large amount of hair in the shower drain). The unit was also lacking some items like extra pillows (there was only one each per person) and extra blankets. There was only Axe body wash and men’s hair care available in the shower and just hand sanitizer in one of the bathrooms vs actual hand soap. The owner was responsive when we had trouble getting into the unit. If I had to stay in the area again, we would possibly give it another try and hope some of the missing amenities get added and cleaning is improved.

Location was great, easy to get to and close to the Ocean.

Very nice basement suite. Lots of room and well equipped. Host was very responsive to all questions and brought us extra towels quickly when we asked. Note there is a flight of stairs to get to the suite that might be an issue for people with mobility problems. Would stay again for sure

We stayed for 5 days. It was a perfect layout with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Great for my wife and me and her mother. Very nice location, short drive to Crescent Beach, the pier and shopping. Listing was as pictured, clean, nice kitchen, new washer and dryer and appliances. Owner was quick to respond to requests and questions. Would have liked a couple of extra blankets, but they were not available. Overall a great place to stay and would definitely stay here again. Thanks.

Stairs down from the back yard garden to a lovely modern 2 bedroom suite. It felt safe and was very clean. The host was a helpful and accommodating man.

Well appointed, great location, cozy, clean and convenient!

Spacious location with plenty of room for four people. Very clean and modern. Two bathrooms is a great convenience for two adult couples. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great location. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Limited towels ( 1 bath sheet per guest for 4 night stay) and no flat sheet on beds, just fitted sheet and duvet. Kitchen had everything we needed.

Perfect for what we were looking for. Great location, spacious, clean. Had all the amenities we needed. Everything worked and was high quality. Pictures and description in listing were accurate. Communication was great right from the start. Host was very responsive and advised us to let him know if there was anything we needed. The bed in the one bedroom was very firm and could possibly use a foam topper or something like that. Would be ok for a couple of nights but for a week long stay, it was noticeable by the end of the week. That was the only thing that made our stay not absolutely perfect! But to note - we didn’t mention this to the owner so he may have come up with a solution if we had. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family or anyone heading to that area. Thank you Jim and family!

A great place to stay.

Nice place to stay. The internet wasn't great which made working and using the TV for Netflix hard. There was an attempt to help us fix it, but it didn't work. Also you can hear the people upstairs, someone is a very talented piano player, but it made it hard to feel like you had privacy.

Beautiful and quiet property, place is clean. Short distance to the water front. Host very responsive. Would love to stay here again when we are in town.

Great location, beautiful community. Communication with owner was fast and efficient. However this property could use some work in terms of essentials. All previous rentals I have had; the owners have gone above and beyond at providing their renter with the basics, cleaning supplies, extra dish towels, blankets, etc… Kitchen essentials like salt/pepper, cooking spray, appropriate utensils. Dishes were lacking and missing a few essential utensils. The suite was beautifully done, but lacking the love of providing adequate comfort. The master bedroom had a “mattress” however I’m sure it was a box spring with a 1inch foamy topper. It felt like sleeping on plywood. No flat sheets on beds just fitted and a duvet, some people are comfortable with that. However a flat sheet has always made me feel better knowing there is separation between me and the last person that may have used that duvet (I’m sure they are washed but for me it’s a “thing”). If you like to sleep in, it’s probably not the place for you. The owners have what I’m sure is music lessons for them or their children on the weekends and the walls are not even close to sound proof. For us it was never an issue as we are early risers, and the music was enjoyable. If your renting this place because it has an outdoor patio, yes..it does. But it is sunken and the house is positioned so there is no sun directly on the patio area. However, it was lovely to be able to sit outside while we were there. All in all this location was perfect, but the lack of sleep due the terrible box spring/mattress and lack of essentials/basics I would probably not rebook unless I knew those were provided.

Pristinely clean. It seemed property was brand new or nearly so in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for our family of 4. This is a quiet, spacious, bright unit. All was as described in the listing. In-floor heating made for comfortable temperature during our March visit. Very convenient parking in the driveway. Our host was very responsive and conscientious. Would stay again when we are in the area.
