Welcome to a gorgeous original Tybee Island cottage circa 1940's. This spacious coastal cottage is perfect for large families or groups of friends. 12th Street Cottage is one block from South Beach, it is the 10th home from the sand and water.
Enter the home ground level into a living room followed by two bedrooms, two bathrooms and laundry. Up the stairs is the beautifully remodeled large open kitchen and another living room, dining area, two large bedrooms and a full bathroom. This home has been completely remodeled to keep the original Tybee Island charm and has all new furniture, bedding, appliances, everything!
Tybee Island's 12th Street Cottage is only steps away to the sand and sea! Just one short block to the beach, one block from the local Tybee Island Market and just a few blocks to all the Tybee Island shops and restaurants. This mid-south island area is perfect to walk to restaurants, grocery, shops and nightlife. Relax in the evenings grilling in the large backyard equipped with picnic table, fire pit and wooden adirondack chairs. This beach cottage is located in a safe, residential area and also a short walk to all the fun spots on the island.
Ground level has queen bedroom, twin over full bunk beds, queen sleeper sofa in the living room, bathroom and bathtub.
Upstairs has a full bathroom with original Tybee Island tiles, king bedroom with a twin daybed, queen bedroom with a twin daybed and twin trundle bed, sofa daybed in the sunroom and open kitchen and dining room to large family room.

Great location! House was in pretty good condition. Although two showers for 12 people was kind of hard, especially getting hot water. There was a broken window which freaked the kids out a bit. Also one of the doors to the porch wouldn't latch/lock unless you closed it just right. Grocery store is less than a minute walk which was super convenient. The beach was only a 4 minute walk. We had a great experience!

House was mid-island and a great location with ample space and quite comfortable. The only issue was the lack of cooking supplies and utensils, which the company made partially better by bringing a basic utensil set. It was difficult cooking dinner as it was bare minimum (well below the basic things needed for simple meal prep-i.e. the only large knife was a very damage serrated edge that was not even able to cut a beef tenderloin.) This is our only complaint though. The house was great. The rental company was great and very responsive. The location was great.

This home was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The beds were perfect and pillows were fluffy. It was incredibly clean. Grocery store, restaurants and beach only a block or less away. The only con I have is if you are physically compromised the stairs could be an issue. Still a 5 out of 5
