Very nice and to the smallest details taking care of apartment. Apartement is fresh, very clean and complete. The surroundings are very nice and rural. Perfect place for hike or bike. It is located nearby Salzburg, Koningssee and Berchtesgaden. We very much enjoyed our stay!

We stayed for nine nights in apartment Zwiesel. What a wonderful place. It is a beautifully furnished apartment in perfect condition. It was lovely to meet Wilfried and Aurelia who were on hand to answer any queries and give recommendations. Aurelia was excellent to communicate with from initial contact. The location of the house is great. We decided on not renting a car and avail of public transport, which worked out very well. A little walk to the train station in Bayerisch Gmain. From here you can connect to Salzburg, Berchtesgaden, Konigsee, Eagles Nest, Munich etc. Bad Reichenhall is also a short walk away. The bus service is also excellent and good value if you buy a day ticket. The area is blessed with the most stunning scenery. It is a wonderful area for walking, hiking, cycling and a pure delight for photography. If visiting this area of Bavaria we would highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed.

The Zwiesel is a very nice and clean apartment located in a superb valley surrounded by mountains. We enjoyed having a walk after diner with the view on the country. The apartment is close to Salzburg and allows accessing many other interesting locations such as Hohenwerfen’s castle, Golling waterfall and the Untersberg cable car. The hosts are charming, accommodating and keeps the place very well organized. We really enjoyed our stay my wife and I and we warmly recommending this apartment.

We stayed in Apartment Zwiesel for six nights in July, second week into our European tour which included Prague, Krakow and Vienna. We chose Bayerisch Gmain and Hochstaufenblick due to its proximity to Salzburg, Salzkammergut (Austria's Lake District), and Berchtesgaden. Young at heart couple from Southern England On arrival we were welcomed by Mrs Nogossek who provided us with map of the region and a quite a comprehensive guide to local facilities. A very nice touch was the beer in fridge and the chocolates on the pillows. The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped, in a quiet and peaceful location, with two balconies offering typical Bavarian pasture land views. We would highly recommend this apartment as a base for touring this part of Germany and Austria or just for a few days of relaxation and tranquility.

the apartment was the perfect size for 2 people & had all of the amenities needed. the scenery & area was beautiful & walking distance to bakery & grocery store in minutes. nice & quiet, calm & friendly community, & wonderful hospitality from owners. will definitely return again.

We had a pleasant and wonderful vacation. Our appartment was very nice, comfortable and clean. We liked the enviremont of the appartment. A beautiful view and it was relaxed. The owners were very kind people. We are golf players, and there are many beautiful golfcourses in the neighbourhood. We would like to come back once.

We rented "Zwiesel" at the beginning of August and had such a good holiday. The apartment was fantastic, very clean, comfortable and in a really good location. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Lots of places to eat within easy walking distance and the most amazing scenery we have ever seen. Be warned the weather in the area changes really quickly and during the summer there are lots of mosquitoes. The only drawback to the apartment for us was the very large feather pillows which apparently are common in Germany but we found them too soft and uncomfortable. If you want to visit Bavaria I can't imagine a better place to stay. We loved it and will definitely return.
