With its easy access to over 20 Kentucky Bourbon Trail distilleries, Churchill Downs, Taylorsville Lake State Park, Downtown Louisville (breweries, dining, shopping, entertainment and more) plus hiking, river tours and outdoor adventures you will find yourself immersed in the culture that is classic Kentucky. Our breathtaking 1820's restored cabin is designed beautifully for 8 guests and with 4 private suites, 4 full bathrooms and a half bath, you will have plenty of room to gather and relax. Handcrafted furniture, locally made quilts, fully stocked kitchen, smart TVs in every bedroom and WiFi throughout are just a few of the amenities you will find. Join in on a game of pool on our new pool table. Relax by the fireplaces in either the living room or main floor bedroom, strike up a conversation in the sitting room overlooking the rolling hillside dotted with cattle, engage in a board game of your choice with several provided to choose from or just soak in the views on the full, wrap around porch overlooking the picturesque lake, fire pits and farmland. This property is absolutely stunning and exceeded our expectations. The bedroom situation could not have been better for 4 couples traveling together and the dining table/living room both provided ample space for everyone to hangout. This property is centrally located between Louisville, Frankfort and Bardstown, which is great for adventures on the Bourbon Trail. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone needing accommodations in the area!!!

This was a perfect getaway for old friends and bourbon. The house has everything you need and want along with a welcoming atmosphere.

Our group of seven family members loved our stay here. The house is extremely clean and well maintained both inside and outside. The rooms are large and there are ample bedrooms and bathrooms and the living room and kitchen provided us ample space to come together as a family. The house is well stocked with everything a person could need right from plenty of towels, extra blankets, toiletries and even firewood for the fire pit.Before booking, questions were answered in a timely manner and after booking, we had no issues with any questions or needs that we had. This is a perfect place for rest and relaxation and we highly recommend it
