La Roka, Cliffside Memories

Santorini was the first stop on our travels and what an introduction to this gorgeous island we were given by host, George! He met us on arrival and hauled our oversized, overweight luggage down the stairs to reception for us. We were given an overview of the island, a map, restaurant recommendations and suggestions on things to do during our stay. We had a suite and the facilities were excellent, the bed was super comfortable, room was spotlessly clean and the views were incredible. You can literally sit on your balcony with a drink in hand to watch the sunset rather than hustle for a good photo spot along the path like so many do. We were so pleased we had chosen this area, it was so much quieter than the hustle and bustle of Oia and Fira, but easily accessible to those areas. We did the walk to Fira which was lovely and took a taxi to Oia for a quick wander around. Honestly, look no further than La Roka, I spent hours researching accommodation and could not have been more thrilled with our choice. George welcomed us each time we saw him with a big smile and a chat, 5/5 host. We will never forget our time here. Thank you George and the La Roka team

The view was totally magnificent and breathtaking from the balcony. The location is straight on the main walking road from fira to oia with crazy caldera views all the way. George the host was INCREDIBLE. Made us feel at home. Helped us with booking restaurants and recommendations,upgraded our room and just treated us like family. Thank you 🙏🏽

No pool, super hot in august. But george helped us find hotels that accept visitors outside with fee

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Hosts were super friendly and helpful, they organized all the taxis for us which was extremely helpful! Area is quiet and peaceful, very romantic!
