Le Pettegole

There is a good amount of natural light in this space once you open the shutters and windows, which is something I have found lacking in some of the other bookings I made. I used the twin bed situated in the main bedroom to unpack my bags, but if you were using that for sleeping, there might have been a lack of space for your belongings, except for the hanging rod on the wall. A cute little kitchen table and chairs was useful. Decent kitchenette with fridge, stove top, sink, microwave, and espresso machine, and the owner kindly left me with 3 large bottles of water to start out my week - much appreciated, as no matter where you are coming from, the apartment is uphill. Location is very close to the main street of the old town, with a large variety of restaurants a 3-6 min walk away.

Not a dislike, but communication with the owner was a bit difficult since I didn't speak any Italian and she didn't speak any English. We got thru it okay with Google translate help and WhatsApp messaging back and forth as we stood in front of each other, but just to note. She was very friendly and patient with me.

Lägenhet med mycket bra läge nära restauranggatan. Möjlighet att ta buss till stranden eller stort arkeologiskt område. Tvättmaskin finns och köket är relativt välutrustat.

Wifi finns men värdinnan känner inte till lösenordet. Tyvärr finns ingen instruktion för tvättmaskinen - man kan av misstag stänga av strömmen till den under pågående tvätt.

Casa pulita, accogliente e vicina alla via principale con tutto l'occorrente per cucinare; abbiamo trovato al nostro arrivo anche la colazione in regalo per il giorno successivo. Zona tranquilla e silenziosa ottima per riposare davanti al convento del Santo Spirito. Ottimo corredo di biancheria e prodotti da bagno. Aria condizionata ben funzionante. Host gentile, puntuale e disponibile.

Il vantaggio di essere in pieno centro lo si paga in termini di comodità di parcheggio e di accessibilità... si accede alla struttura attraverso scale ripide o salite/discese tipiche del luogo. Il parcheggio si trova anche non a pagamento grazie alle indicazioni dell'host ma dovrete sempre fare un tratto non comodo soprattutto con i bagagli. Tecnicamente negli orari di apertura della ZTL si potrebbe raggiungere la struttura con l'auto, ma non essendo abituato a guidare in strade così strette non me la sono sentita.

Nous avons trouvé dans l’appartement une corbeille pour le petit déjeuner c’était très appréciable car non mentionné dans l’annonce. Nous avons aimé le fait d’avoir un parking gratuit à côté (dans le monastère !!) Il était très bien situé dans la vieille ville : super sympa de se balader en fin de journée dans les ruelles autour !
