Wild Wood x Hansa Beach Fitness Resort

Everything is perfect at this resort. So cool and chill atmosphere. The beach bungalow is so fancy, the pool, the gym, the food at the restaurant, the staff are so friendly. They have sauna and steam room, also an ice bath, perfect for recovery. Location is also perfect between Thong Sala and Haad Rin, easily accessible by scooter. There is also 7 eleven by 5 mins walk. This is our favorite place on Koh Phangan, will be back.

Wanted to stay here as it looked like a nice gym area on the beach. Location was nice and close to the night markets and near stores.

Seemed very performative, gym equipment isn’t really for use but more for social media people. Restaurant staff were a little rude.

Room was clean, aircon worked fine.

The room is rather small, which is fine in and of itself. Maybe comparing to another hotel we stayed at in Koh Samui days before (more spacious with breakfast included), our feeling was that value for money was a bit of a factor. In comparison, breakfast was not included here (although there is a cafe on the premises that serve a very good, paid-for breakfast), and there is a significant room size difference, yet price-wise we paid almost the same price per night here as compared to Koh Samui. In all fairness, if the main attraction of Wild Wood is the beach fitness section, which we did not make use of (but usage of the facilities was included in the price), then perhaps one might have a different view. In summary, a pleasant experience, perhaps our expectations were not aligned with the fitness aspect here, which seemed very popular for other travelers :)
