Your Cozy One Bedroom Midtown

The room was clean, shower was nice and hot, there was a full kitchen and the bed was very comfortable. There is a smart tv, coffee pot, and the kitchen is stocked full of pots and pans.

The check in process is fully digital, I completed it 3 times and still wasn’t given my check in info. Our room code did not work. The shower drained very slowly and no counter space in the bathroom. We were only given 2 towels. Back yard looks rough.

Location

Excellent location for visiting the Detroit Institute of Arts and other nearby museums and galleries, as well as architectural strolls in and around Wayne State University. Easy free street parking in front of the building.

Apartment door code was not what we were given in the check-in information. It took awhile phoning the management company (who didn’t pick up but texted us back) to get the correct code (which actually was easier to memorize than the code in the check-in info because it differed from the front-door code by only the last digit). Kitchen had no towel rack or dish towels and minimal cooking and dining supplies (no frying pan, no baking sheet, no measuring cups, few forks, knives, and spoons). Bathtub was slippery and lacked a non-slip mat. Lighting was so-so, making it hard for two people to read in the living room. Should be easy for them to improve, if they want to.

The place was very clean and tidy and the location is perfect. I also enjoyed the free street parking around the building, and even with bad weather and snow, there were always parking spaces available. The staff was also quick and helpful in answering questions.

Make sure you discuss the status of guests before your stay cause that got me confused. But the staff was great in answering my questions via the application.
