Breakfast was good you could make your own with the ingredients provided by the host Shirley. Bungalow was cosy. Shirley was very polite on our arrival

Room was a little small for two but otherwise suitable for two nights. We stayed in room 1

Also erstes: Die Gastgeberin Shirley. Sie tut alles um die Gäste glücklich zu machen. Das Haus hat 3 Gästezimmer, man kann in der Küche Mahlzeiten bzw. muss sich das Frühstück selbst zubereiten, da Shirley nicht mit im Haus wohnt. Für Letzteres war alles vorhanden, kann aber auch nachgefragt werden. Kaffee entweder mit Siebpresse oder Kapseln, wenigsten kein Nescafepulver. Esszimmer und Wohnzimmer mit ausreichend Sitzgelegenheiten für alle Gäste vorhanden . Außenbereich mit Sitzmöbeln. 200m vom Haus fährt ein Bus nach Derry und zurück. Nicht zu oft.aber man kann sich damit gut arrangieren.

Unser Zimmer war recht klein, so dass nicht viel mehr als das Bett reinpasst. Da es aber Ess- und Wohnbereich gibt, reicht die Zimmergröße völlig, da man das nur zum Schlafen nutzt. Bad ebenfalls völlig OK.

Friendly welcome, prompt replies to queries and provision of quite a few basic provisions (bread, milk, fruit, cereal etc). Well-equipped kitchen.

I hadn't fully appreciated that booking 3 bedrooms separately and the reference to 'shared' bathroom, kitchen and lounge meant shared with other guests, not the owner. So, my family had 3 bedrooms and other guests had the other bedroom. No issue with that fortunately, just unexpected and I think the accommodation description could make the set-up clearer. There's only one small fridge. Not clear how to identify which food items were provided by the host and which belonged to different guests. Not an issue during our short stay but could be if 4 different sets of guests staying. We had taken food for our family of 5 so used a lot of the available fridge space. Finally, the house is very clean but the pictures don't show the living areas which are very dated in decor style (think 70s retro). Fine for our short stay but possibly a bit overpowering for a longer holiday.
