Quiet, self-service stay

A variety of items were provided to create your own breakfast, including fresh fruit, cheese, packets of oatmeal, and juice, coffee and more (I forget what else there was).

There wasn’t much room to place our belongings. We had to put our carry-on size suitcase in behind the entry door so we could still walk to the bathroom, because the little niches weren’t big enough for it to fit. Instructions for the coffee maker would have been helpful. Not specific to this location, but for all of our lodging in Ireland: a top sheet and a ceiling fan would have been welcome additions. Duvets are too heavy for summer, and without air conditioning, a fan would keep the room feeling cooler. I’ve since learned that top sheets aren’t as common as they are in the United States.

You made your own breakfast fresh fruit croissants cornflakes were provided along with tea and Plenty of fresh bread eggs and juice as well. It allowed flexibility and was a really good idea You could relax in the cottage at night Plenty of parking.Lovely warm shower

The place is very similar to the description. It's a very nice and quiet house, very well equipped. Our hosts were available by message and very responsive. The breakfast is also very nice, with a lot of choice. We enjoyed our night there and we do recommend it !

Country cottage near Derry

This is a country cottage and you would need a car to get to it. It was lovely to wake to the sounds of birds and cows. The welcome was warm and efficient. The room is quite small but comfortable. The towels were luxurious. The breakfast was self-serve, which suited us. There was plenty to choose from. We would happily stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay but just disappointed by not having TV

We booked a double room, which is a bit small; there is no space for suitcases. Maybe next time we will book a bigger room. Overall, the place was very clean, with everything we needed. We were let down by not having TV. We were absolutely disappointed, as we spent our 2 evenings on our phones and had nothing to do indoors. It should have been better with even the smallest TV.

Not quite what we were expecting

Friendly welcome, prompt replies to queries and provision of quite a few basic provisions (bread, milk, fruit, cereal etc). Well-equipped kitchen.

I hadn't fully appreciated that booking 3 bedrooms separately and the reference to 'shared' bathroom, kitchen and lounge meant shared with other guests, not the owner. So, my family had 3 bedrooms and other guests had the other bedroom. No issue with that fortunately, just unexpected and I think the accommodation description could make the set-up clearer. There's only one small fridge. Not clear how to identify which food items were provided by the host and which belonged to different guests. Not an issue during our short stay but could be if 4 different sets of guests staying. We had taken food for our family of 5 so used a lot of the available fridge space. Finally, the house is very clean but the pictures don't show the living areas which are very dated in decor style (think 70s retro). Fine for our short stay but possibly a bit overpowering for a longer holiday.

Lovely place to stay

Very comfortable accommodation, everything was clean and there is parking on the premisses. Free tea and coffee on the bedrooms. I haven't had the opportunity to meet the host but we communicated through phone call and messages and she was really helpful on our check in. Is also very close to Derry town if you're traveling by car, so we had good options of places to eat.

The road where the property is located is not illuminated so it's hard to see the entrance if you're arriving at night. But other then that there's nothing to complain about, everything was perfect and I would stay there again. :)

A great place to relax and charge your batteries

We loved the extras left out by our host. Having access to a lounge and kitchen made our stay feel like home. Our host went out of her way to make us feel welcome.

Fantastic quite House.

The bathroom could do a little revamp, nothing bad, it was very clean etc but if I could direct to any next upgrade in the property the bathroom would be the only item. Everything else was amazing.

There was a communal bathroom (with toilet) for 3-4 rooms. Very noisy guests, slammed doors. Tv only in the living room, but not working.

Sono stato ospite in questo posto e devo dire che ha superato le mie aspettative! La camera era bellissima, arredata con gusto e molto comoda. La cucina era dotata di ogni comfort e genere per la colazione, sia dolce che salata. Ho apprezzato la libertà di prepararmi la colazione come preferivo, e la qualità dei prodotti era ottima. Il check-in è stato chiaro e facile. Tutto è stato gestito con professionalità e cortesia. In generale, sono stato molto soddisfatto del mio soggiorno in questo posto.
