Rockhopper Cottage, Waldringfield

Fantastic spot , 2 min walk to the river and local pub ! Cottage is very homely , kitchen to die for ! So quiet ! Heaven !

I loved it all ….: but if I had to pick one thing the Garden was lovely to sit in , but front and back garden haven’t had any care for a while , the weeds are loving life !!

The cottage was very lovely with a huge kitchen diner and bifold doors leading out the to garden. It was extremely well equipped. Megan our host was so helpful, we had an issue with the TV (during the World Cup) she came within the hour and sorted it out. We told her we had wanted to do the river cruise but it was fully booked but she ran them and managed to get us places. The location is superb close to Sutton Hoo and other attractions. The cottage is less than two minutes from the waterside pub and restaurant which overlooks the river. There is a huge Tesco and lots of other shops a few minutes drive away.

The smaller of the two bedrooms had no wardrobe or anywhere to hang any clothes other than in the larger bedroom. We did not realise that one bathroom was downstairs, not an issue for us but perhaps a clearer indication in the information on line. A very minor issue but we had three cafetières but no teapot.

The location was perfect

A beautifully appointed cottage in a quiet location, situated only a very short distance from the shore of the river Deben. The cottage had everything that we could possibly need for our stay.
