Cozy home in historical center
We had a lovely stay! Alison was nice enough to show us around the house before our stay, which we really appreciate! She was also very attentive to making sure we were comfortable (such as turning on the heating once it started to get cold). The house itself was very charming, comfortable, and clean. The location is also great, within walking distance of multiple restaurants, and right at the center of town. If we ever visit Forcalquier again, we will definitely stay here!

This house is not for children or anyone with reduced mobility due to the number of stairs.

Really enjoyable 5 day stay. Alison our host was extremely helpful with restaurant advice etc.
Great location. Wonderful host. Nice terrace for breakfast.
No parking nearby. Very ancient and slippy steep curved stairs. Not suitable for small children or the infirm elderly.

Agréable endroit
Alison est très sympathique et accueillante. Le gîte est très bien situé, en plein centre de Forcalquier mais dans une rue où on ne peut pas circuler donc très calme.
Il manque un petit peu d'équipements en cuisine , cafetière électrique, une casserole de plus et un peu plus de vaisselle afin de faire moins de lave- vaisselle. Pas de volets aux fenêtres donc des doubles rideaux occultants permettraient de lutter un minimum contre la chaleur. Il est à noter que le gîte est sur 4 niveaux et les escaliers assez difficiles

Wunderschönes, charmantes Haus aus dem 17. Jahrhundert, das mit seinem liebevoll gestalteten und gepflegten Ambiente die Provence von seiner besten und originellsten Seite zeigt. Ruhige Lage am Rande der Altstadt. Von der Wohnung bis in den Ortskern sind es nur 3 Gehminuten. Forcalquier ist ein kleiner schöner Ort mit vielen Natursteinhäusern und engen Gassen. Kostenlose Parkplätze standen in der Nähe in ausreichender Menge zur Verfügung. Unsere Vermieterin Alison war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Sie spricht fließend englisch und französisch und war uns gerne mit Tipps zu Restaurants und Kultur behilflich. Vor der Reise gab es tolle Instruktionen zur Anreise und Wissenswertes zum Haus und zur Umgebung. So eine umsichtige Gastgeberin hatten wir in Frankreich noch nie!

Ein perfekter Aufenthalt in einem fantastischen Haus im Zentrum der Stadt - wir kommen wieder.
Die Lage des Hauses ist fantastisch, direkt im Zentrum einer tollen lebendigen Stadt und gleichzeitig absolut ruhig. Alles fußläufig erreichbar, Geschäfte, Cafes, Restaurant, Markt ... ! Die Gastgeberin war extrem freundlich, diskret und hat unterstützt wann immer nötig und möglich. Das Haus selbst ist ein wahres Schmuckstück aus dem Mittelalter - wirklich einzigartig - und perfekt für den Urlaub von Erwachsenen (Treppe nicht ganz einfach). Ausstattung und Sauberkeit, alles tadellos.
