About this house rental
Perfect for travellers, academics and active people who will appreciate getting such a great value inner city terrace in one of the worlds most expensive cities.
Offering access to the best the inner west can offer, this original 1867 workers terrace is a private 2 x storey oasis with modern furnishings, polished boards, internet and a leafy private courtyard.
Small original bathroom has new wide shower head, toilet and sink and there’s a second toilet in the laundry with new washing machine and dryer. It is located on the garden level at the back of the house, under the kitchen, and is only accessed by using your house key.
There’s a large leafy courtyard, a chefs gas oven, wifi (the password is on a magnet near the fridge), aircon in every room, polished boards, small TV, Juliette balcony off third study/bedroom and you’re only one minute walk to bus stops in all directions.
Being an inner-city terrace, we have complete privacy but are in close proximity to our neighbours, with whom we have a good relationship and mutual respect. Please do not give them cause to complain.
Glebe is a non-smoking environment, but please feel free to smoke in the courtyard garden and dispose of fully extinguished cigarette butts in the rubbish.
The attic is a private storage space that is not available for guests.
One minute walk to Sydney University and a short stroll to trendy Glebe cafes, pubs, Broadway shopping centre, Officeworks, Hoyts, bookshops, Seymour theatre, Victoria Park & pool, with public buses 50 metres from the doorstep. Buses take 3 to 5 minutes to get to UTS and central station in the CBD. In fact everything you need for a relaxing stay in the heart of everything Sydney has to offer is walking distance or a short bus ride away.

The kitchen was fully equipped and were we able to cook big meals very efficiently. I also loved access to a laundry and was able to clean and dry clothes when necessary.

Beautiful old terrace home, with lots of character.. easy to find. Great central spot for sightseeing. Clean & tidy.Lovely to find some staples to use, tea, coffee, sugar, oil, salt n pepper, vegemite & jam. Hosts were very responsive & quick to help out with an aircon issue. Could not have asked for more help.We were only there 5 days so no need for washer/dryer, but assuming under house?Fantastic place to relax & unwind. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you.

As our planes arrived before check in time, our host let us check in earlier.The house had all that we needed, was comfortable and was close to local transport.It was lovely to have a small garden with plants and trees.The area was quiet and close to shops to buy supplies.

The property could have been much cleaner. There were dead cockroaches on the floor of one bedroom and false eyelashes and fingernails on the floor of the shower
