Langballigau, with its sailing harbor, beach promenade, restaurants, and many other beaches, as well as nature reserves, Glücksburg, Flensburg, Denmark, and Kappeln, offer plenty of vacation experiences.

Very close to the country house are the Dollerup Distillery, the Unewatt Museum Village, the Mangelsen farm store, the Dollerup Jensen Winery, and—just 5 km away—Langballigau and Westerholz on the fjord, featuring a beach, restaurants, an ice cream parlor, a sailing harbor, a beach promenade, and a pier offering boat tours to Sønderborg, as well as a fjord cruise via the bicycle ferry to Denmark.
