Brand new 2 bed 2 bath Apartment in Putney

The location was quite good. Easy to get downtown. It was close to the train. Unfortunately, right before our stay, the en suite bathroom apparently flooded due to an issue upstairs, and we therefore only had one bathroom. We did get a discount for this. The unit itself is not brand new. It’s probably brand new to Vrbo. The unit is probably 20 years old it looks like there were high-quality appliances put in originally. The flooring is needing some updating as it is worn and lifting. The kitchen chairs are breaking down. There are some deficiencies in the remaining bathroom. That being said, the central air conditioning was great. Being on an upper floor with 30° outside, it was lovely to be able to cool the place down quickly. Everything worked. They were utensils and plates. There was plenty of hot water. That being said, the little plastic shield didn’t do a great job of keeping the water off the floor when one took a shower. The place was soaked after a shower. The sheets were clean and smelled fresh. The mattresses themselves were quite flimsy and unsupportive. The pillows were tiny. Overall as a place to stay, it was acceptable. I don’t feel like it was luxurious. Security of the building was good. There was an elevator. Neighbourhood felt safe. Restaurants were good. Both the Italian and the Nepalese (more Indian than anything) were good value and tasted great. Small grocery store 2 min walk away was great.
