Bright stylish apartment with a balcony in a top location

Spaziosa, pulita, dotata di tutti i servizi necessari come cucina, lavastoviglie, lavatrice, ferro da stiro e tanto altro. La posizione ottima, 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Wien Mitte dove fermano i transfer da/per l’aeroporto, 5 minuti dal Prater e 15 minuti a piedi dal centro storico.

Purtroppo abbiamo beccato la settimana più calda a Vienna e la mancanza dei condizionatori non ha reso il sonno facile.

The location was excellent. The apartment was very bright, and the rooms were sufficiently spacious. The kitchen was well equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay.

The keyless entry system was somewhat inconvenient, as access to the apartment depended entirely on a phone link and internet connection. The link did not always open immediately on the phone, which could be stressful when trying to enter the building. In practice, without a charged phone and internet access, getting into the apartment could become difficult. There was also renovation work both outside on the street and inside the building, with noticeable noise during weekdays and sometimes even at night. Since we had to work from the apartment on several days, this was rather disturbing.

The apartment was very clean and friendly, like on the picture. The balcony was amazing and the beds were very comfortable.

The fact that the apartment was extremely hot. It had 29 degrees Celsius inside. There was one fan in the bedroom which worked very well. But in the other room, where my daughters slept, was none. I asked for one and they told me that they don't have another fan and they were all in use by other apartments. They told us that in a few days, we would have one. I ended up buying one because we still had a number of days and there were extreme temperatures in Vienna. It was unbearable, the bathroom was like a steam sauna. I also asked for another set of key and a broom and the answer was always "unfortunately....", no customer service whatsoever. You also have to keep in mind that if you stay let's say for a week, there are no cleaning tools. There was only a little brush and a dustpan and I was trying my best to clean the floor, which was really challenging. For all this reason I would not rent this apartment again, despite the fact that it was charming and in a very good location.
