The host Andre was extremely communicative and left clear instructions via whasapp in how to access the property. He also sent a very informative PDF with lots of local knowledge included. I advised pre stay that we were visiting for my parents wedding anniversary and on arrival, there was a wonderfully displayed poster on the bed and side table wishing them a happu 63rd Anniversary. It was a lovely touch and they were over the moon. Overall this property is excellent. Everything has been thought through with a lot of love, care and attention to detail. From the moment we booked until we got home, Andre was in touch with us to make sure everythign was ok and reassuring us that if we needed him we just had to send a message. In all honesty, I believe it's the best property we have stayed in with any booking we have made though this platform. Thank you Andre for such a wonderful stay.

Absolutely everything was perfect.

Very friendly communicative and helpful host! Just around the corner from the beach, next-door to a nice little grocery store and across the street from a workers restaurant where you can get a substantial lunch of meat and potatoes, including soup, wine, water and dessert! Local and delicious. Apartment is absolutely gorgeous and comfortable and clean. Prettiest place we have stayed in so far! I want to come back!

Absolutely no negatives, beautiful accommodation!

Check-in was straightforward and the access codes worked without issue. We appreciated the welcome items (water, waffles, and coffee pods). Sheets and towels were clean, there were multiple air conditioning units for temperature control, the shower pressure was strong, and the staircase safety bar was useful.

For two to three days, there was continuous noise from the warehouse connected to the apartment, including drilling, banging (due to constructions), and movement of goods and materials. The area is quite busy, with noticeable street noise in all three bedrooms. Although the listing stated a 2:30 pm check-in, we were informed via WhatsApp the day before that it would be at 4:00 pm. Check-out at 11:00 am was strictly enforced with no flexibility, which led us to leave a day early to stay at a hotel where luggage storage was available. It was also difficult to get a Bolt taxi in the area, so we used a private transfer service instead. The floors were not properly cleaned on arrival, and the bathroom drain was clogged. Tap water quality was unclear, as locals were buying bottled water, but no guidance was provided. The mattresses were also uncomfortable. Communication and support from the host were minimal, although his mother, whom we met at the supermarket next door, was friendly and apologetic. Overall, it is a functional place, particularly for pilgrims, but less suitable for those seeking a quieter and more comfortable stay.
