Hideaway Homestay kandy

This was without a doubt one of the best and most memorable stops of my entire 15-day trip around Sri Lanka. I stayed with Vipul, his wife and their family, and from the very beginning, I felt completely at home. Their generosity, kindness, warmth and genuine hospitality are something I will never forget. As a woman travelling alone, I truly felt like I was staying with my own uncle and aunt, who were taking care of me and making sure I was happy and comfortable. I spent the evening talking with Vipul and his wife, and we continued chatting over breakfast the next morning. These are the kinds of moments that make travelling so special. They didn’t just welcome me into their home they genuinely made me feel like part of the family. I slept very well, and they took such wonderful care of me throughout my stay. The food was absolutely incredible. The homemade dinner was, without any doubt, the best rice and curry I ate during my entire 15 days in Sri Lanka. It was delicious and made with so much love. And their kindness went even further: they prepared breakfast for me to take away for my train journey afterwards. Such a small gesture, but one that touched me deeply. The house itself is beautiful, and the location is excellent very central and convenient, making it easy to explore Kandy. I have a huge soft spot for these people. ❤️ I honestly cannot thank them enough for all the smiles, kindness and beautiful memories they gave me. This stay was a truly meaningful part of my Sri Lankan journey. I will come back and stay with them again without the slightest hesitation. And I will recommend their beautiful home to all my friends and family. If you are looking for more than just a place to sleep if you want to experience genuine Sri Lankan hospitality and leave with a warm heart please stay here. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! La chambre était très propre avec une superbe vue sur les montagnes. Les hôtes étaient très accueillants et gentils. Le dîner proposé à domicile était également excellent. Nous recommandons ce logement !!

We had a wonderful time in Kandy, thanks in part to this lovely place to stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the place had all the amenities we needed. The hosts provided delicious meals and gave us an impressive tour of the city. We felt right at home.

We had a wonderful stay at Hideaway Homestay Kandy. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The property has a peaceful atmosphere with beautiful views, making it a perfect place to relax. The location is convenient for visiting Kandy’s attractions while still being quiet and surrounded by nature. We truly appreciated the hospitality and felt at home from the moment we arrived.

Nothing to complain about. Everything met our expectations, and we had a very pleasant stay.
