Apartamento Alameda by Algarve Holidays

Location and layout of the apartment were fantastic. Huge balcony, good bathrooms and bedrooms, good lounge/diner. Good lifts. Although in the centre of the town it was very quiet. Very effective weekly cleaning service. Management company very responsive.

Air conditioning in the twin bedroom was too noisy to sleep with it on. A couple of loungers on the balcony would be helpful. The basement parking space is too small for a medium car, but there is outside ground level parking.

It is a beautiful apartment. Excellent size @ 1200 sq ft with two bedrooms with ensuites and a powder room too. It has an amazing wrap-around 700 sq ft balcony with a charcoal BBQ and sink (although we did not use it). It was very clean and looked and felt new. The management company was excellent to deal with. It is one of the best properties we have rented over the years (and we have rented many in different parts of the world). Only one item was a bit of an issue - the access to the garage is tight with a very steep way down and up and the assigned parking spot is very tight - same for everyone in the building, I guess. Little touches like a welcome gift package and mid-stay bedding and towels replacement was great. We ere two couples (family) and I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to be close to Villamoura without paying the Villamoura prices. BTW: It is a penthouse apartment on the 4th floor. Although there is a 5th floor, it is not over the apartment but on the side. The apartment has a partial Seaview so don't expect to see the ocean full front but the balcony is simply amazing in size and sunshine throughout the day makes the apartment very bright. The electric shades provide complete security and total darkness at night. The kitchen is well equiped. We absolutely loved the place.

Nice location and good help from personell when we had questions/needed help. Has cleaning service once a week and a parking space was available.

Very hard beds that did not suit me, but that is only personal preferance. Also not so clever with a glass table for a rental apartment that takes families with kids.
