eigentlich erfolgt die Schlüsselübergabe persönlich aber da wir später angekommen sind wurde uns der Schlüssel im Safe hinterlegt und über WhatsApp wurde alles weitere erklärt sehr schön und unkompliziert gemacht. Lob an die Gastgeberin.

Preislich war die Unterkunft bisschen gehobener was aber auch verständlich war für die schöne Aussicht.

The roads and accesses

Diese Wohnung hat die perfekte Lage! Man wohnt direkt am Küstenwanderweg mit freiem Blick auf das Meer - einfach traumhaft. Die Wohnung selbst ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet, bleibt durch Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer und Jalousien in Wohn- und Schlafraum auch bei Hitze sehr angenehm und bietet viel Platz für zwei Personen. Die Verwalterin kümmert sich schnell, freundlich und kompetent und steht jederzeit für Fragen oder Hilfe zur Verfügung. Wir haben uns deshalb wirklich wohl gefühlt.

Es gibt ein paar Dinge in der Ausstattung, die ersetzt werden sollten: Eine der Liegen auf der Terrasse ist kaputt, sodass man sie nur mit großer Vorsicht nutzen kann (das wurde schon in einer Rezension im März geschrieben, ist also nicht neu). Die Handtücher sind schon sehr dünn und nicht mehr so schön, die Spülbürste wollten wir nicht gern nutzen. Das wäre für die Eigentümer ohne große Kosten machbar und würde zu der ansich wirklich schönen Wohnung auch besser passen.

The gorgeous location is the biggest selling point of this apartment. It is a true gem and we are so greatful we got to stay here and enjoy the peace and natural surroundings. The view alone makes it a dream to stay, with rain or sunshine. I honestly believe no other apartment in the area can match this one. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. There are cushions for the loungebeds and sitting area of the terrace, which is a very comfi. Tip: don't forget to bring a large beach towel to cover the plastic cushion when sitting on the loungebeds. The check in and check out process was very convient and swift, Indra was very friendly! The apartment is ajacent to the very beautiful cliffside path, which allows for a great walk alongside the cliffs with beautiful views toward the praia da marinha. The taxi ride back was only 7euros.

There are a couple of small improvements possible, but none that would deter me from staying again: - the mattress is quite soft and is sunken in on both sides where the persons sleep (the most on the window side of the bed.) - one of the loungebeds has a crack- so you need to be very careful and soft when sitting on it. - the mosquito covers on the windows leave a small crack, so some bugs can still get in. The net in the living area also has a small tear. But as said, none of these points would keep me from booking this little gem again.
