Excellent apartment in Aldeburgh

Very spacious and well thought out accommodation perfect for two couples. Light, bright and extremely clean. Short walk into Aldeburgh and handy to have Tesco and Co-op on the doorstep. We weren’t bothered by traffic noise even though the apartment is on a main road. Would definitely stay again

Very well appointed apartment close to Aldeburgh centre & a great base for exploring the surroundi.

Great location within easy reach of the local Convenience stores, beach, shops, restaurants etc. Car parking was a plus. Apartment was spotless & well furnished.

Road is quite noisy in the morning from 7.30.

Super accommodation, noisy location

The flat was wonderful in so many ways. Spacious, tastefully decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. First Class all round

Unfortunately, regarding any property, it's so often about, location, location, location. The interior of the place is super, but the location is terrible. It is situated right on the main road (the A1094) into Aldeburgh and hence there was a vast amount of passing traffic during the day with associated road noise. Had I known about this I would not have booked the property (strangely enough, almost no reviews mention the road noise). Having said that, there is less road noise at night, and, with the main bedroom at the rear, I slept well.

Lovely property with everything you need.

Lovely property, quiet and in a great location. Fantastic to have parking. Master bedroom mattress is amazing, so comfortable. Kitchen well equipped.

Key cabinet is difficult to get at, nearly dropped the key in to the bush (could just be me being stupid!). Single bed mattresses could do with replacing, or mattress toppers. Heater in main bedroom didn’t work so was chilly in there. None of this would put me off staying here again.

A lovely Suffolk break

The location was perfect for walking down to the town and beach and also for visiting nearby places such as Thorpness and Southwold. The flat was very comfortable and well furnished, with lots of games, books etc as well as tourist information and maps of the area. The kitchen equipment covered everything we needed. The two bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious and an en suite extra bathroom was a bonus.

The steep staircase on entering the flat was slightly challenging when carrying luggage, food etc in and out, but we had been warned.

Lovely spacious and clean apartment. Comfortable, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Nice short walk into the town.

The immersion heater (on boost) didn't provide enough hot water. A few solar panels might help to provide additional hot water?

No ice cubes for making ice In the ensuite bathroom you could not adjust the shower either very hot or very hot. Moved to main bathroom where shower adjustment worked.

A beautiful apartment within 10 min walking distance of Aldeburgh town centre.

Gorgeous, lovely furnishings and well maintained. Two good sized bedrooms. Perfect for a family with older children. Parking space available at rear of building. Two minute walk to a Tesco Express and a 10/15 min walk down into main high street and beach. Excellent location.

Nothing apart from no door between steep entrance stairs and entrance to apartment. So not really suitable for toddlers unless you keep an eye on them.

Unexpectedly relaxing and pleasant as a break from London.

We loved the design of the interior and the spaciousness. very relaxing and comfortable. We liked the art work on the walls. Everything was nice and clean.

We have some suggestions: 1. A bigger plates rack for drying large plates. 2. A kitchen hand towel. 3. A glass Pyrex casserole dish for microwaving veg in. 4. A mop sponge handle for washing up. Bathroom/shower: 1. non- slip mats in the shower and bath. 2. Handles for safety getting in and out. 3. stool in shower room. Top of stairs: Stool to sit on to do up and undo shoelaces. Appreciated the shoe horn! Some windows a little difficult to close and open, so window sills need brushing to remove cobwebs and insects.

Really lovely place, nicely situated and will book again

Beautifully decorated property, very spacious and comfortable! Nice bottle of wine left for us to enjoy and all the comforts of home.

No complaints really, everything was spot on! Just one tiny gripe, no bath mats for either shower or bath and they were very slippery! So had to use a towel in the bottom of the shower in case I slipped over!

Slightly confusing instructions re: keysafe (could find 4 separate keysafes around building and some unmarked doors). Great service from booking.com in helping with this though when we couldn't get in!
