Robin Lodge

Everything you needed was there it was light spacious comfortable like a home from home nothing to complain about would stay again. We managed to get a good veiw of the eclipse as well through our glasses while we was there which was a bonus.

Our parasol for the outside table was missing a pole so couldent use that but its just a minor thing.

Location very quiet and peaceful small site of half a dozen or so chalets.signs of building expansion on site but no work in progress during our stay.Easy access to Gargrave village by car or a short walk, most amenities, shop (large Coop)pub,food outlets, some do delivery cafe etc Masons Arms pub 10 min walk away serves good food Easy to access other places of interest.Enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Modern shaped bath with shower over, not easy to get in and out of for more elderly or those with modblity issues. Grab rails would be helpfulfor both bath and shower areas Second bedroom rather small to accommodate two beds.Hairdryer good, but no mirror or bedside tables I appreciate there is a.very limited space to place these items so perhaps a shelf at either side of bed may help.My husband has Sleep Apnoea and uses a breathing apperatus to sleep, having to place on floor was not ideal as machine functions better when placed at head level

The lodge was in a lovely quiet location, only a short walk from the town centre. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Also good kitchen facilities as we didn't want to eat out every night.

Maybe an oversight but there were not enough towels provided for the number of people staying, additionally not enough toilet rolls for the length of stay. The biggest frustration was that there is no WiFi provided in the lodge and the reception in this location is very poor. It meant that planning and booking our next day activities was very difficult.
