Although the once-impressive Folkingham Castle no longer stands in the village, its site can still be seen today. The village now features a convenience store where guests can pick up food and other supplies for their own cooking, as well as a pub called The New Inn. Belton House, owned by the National Trust and located in the nearby market town of Grantham, is a magnificent manor house from the 17th century complete with an orangery and extensive grounds where you can go for a stroll and, if you're lucky, see some of the local deer. The museums of Cogglesford Watermill, Navigation House Visitor Centre, and Cranwell Aviation Heritage can be found in Sleaford, a little further north. The village is surrounded by beautiful English countryside, where visitors can enjoy scenic views of rolling fields and go hiking in places like the Colsterworth Nature Trail and Pickworth Great Wood.
