Daffodil Pod is one of six luxury lodges with hot tubs near the Elan Valley. This dog friendly accommodation near Rhayader with enclosed garden has plenty of options for fresh air, views and meals out nearby.

Perfect as a cosy place to retreat after exploring the magnificent landscape, Daffodil Pod also suits well earned rest and relaxation!

Only a couple of miles walk from your pod, Gilfach Nature Reserve makes a peaceful place for a picnic. The sequence of Victorian Dams at the Elan Valley are also a stones throw away. While the market town of Rhayader has cafes, pubs and shops offering all sorts of treats!

This property sleeps up to 4 guests with one sumptuous King Size Bed and the choice of another king size bed or twin single beds - as per your requirements.

Perfect for a couples retreat or dog friendly family getaway, Daffodil Pod has a modern open-plan kitchen and living area complete with dining table, smart TV (with Netflix) and two comfy sofas. The kitchen has all the mod-cons including a dishwasher, oven, microwave and plenty of storage tucked beneath lovely marble work surfaces.
Daffodil Pod has a bright and modern shower room with a flushing toilet. No more trips across a field in the night! This is luxury glamping!

Whether you're enjoying a family holiday in Wales or an a dog friendly couples retreat, you are surrounded by beautiful countryside and walks with spectacular mountain views.

Daffodil Pod's secure garden also gives you peace of mind. Your dogs or little ones can play in the fresh air as you watch them from the bubbles of your hot tub! Adding that precious restful feeling, whether you're preparing salads for the barbecue or relaxing on the outdoor seating with a book.

A maximum of 41 people can be accommodated between the Glamping Pods, Shepherd's Huts and Ger Yr Afon Cottage. Why not book a few properties and have a group getaway or special celebration.

An amazing weekend stay in the Daffodil. The property was clean and had everything we needed. With some gorgeous welcome treats from the hosts, we really enjoyed the waffles! Loved that the garden was enclosed for the dogs! We stayed on the hottest weekend of the year, so sadly didn't get to see too much of the local area as too hot to take the dogs far! But we will be back, already looking at booking again! Would recommend to anyone! A gorgeous glamping pod and a perfect place to relax!

We have an amazing stay and a lovely babymoon. The place is so beautiful, peaceful and neat and clean. Very safe as well. Our toddler totally enjoyed running around in the garden. We went to the park and had a little walk in the town. Amazing location and we enjoyed our short family vacation. Thanks.

We recently stayed in the Daffodil pod and had a very pleasant experience. The pod was clean, well presented, and surprisingly spacious for a family of four, including our Beagle, Leo. The pod overlooks a field with a park, which was ideal for the children to play in. The park was far enough away that the pod still felt private and peaceful. The area around the pod was fully enclosed, which gave us peace of mind knowing our dog could roam freely and safely without the risk of escaping. The pod was well equipped with everything we needed, and there was plenty of space and storage for our belongings. After a day spent hiking, sitting in the hot tub in the evening and gazing up at the stars was a wonderful way to relax. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay that suited our family perfectly.

It was very easy to find and you have great parking right outside the pod. All the information was very clear from booking to arrival and it was great to just arrive and start our break right away and not have to speak to anyone. It was spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could have wanted for a few days away, they even left snacks which was a lovely touch. We booked at the last minute and got a great deal for 3 nights. We always look to book places with an enclosed garden for our dog and our only feedback for others who may be looking to book, especially those with dogs is that although the garden is enclosed, it is not at all private. Weirdly there are actually 6 different access gates into the Daffodil pod, 3 of them leading into the gardens of the other pods so dogs can get right up close face to face with each other at the gates. Just something to consider if you have a more reactive dog. We felt we could not fully relax and enjoy the garden as the dog at the next pod was coming up to the gate all the time. The grass was also in desperate need of a cut, especially as it was raining all weekend so the mud was really bad. Again nothing can be done about the weather but the grass was too long and looked unkempt. The hot tub was huge and lovely and warm, it was lovely to relax in at night. However again it is not very private and you are exposed to others looking at you when you're in it from all except one side. The hot tubs in the shepherd huts are much more private with screens all around. They have packed a lot of pods and huts onto the space which is great, but you are overlooked. You can also clearly see into the bathroom of the next pod when they have the window open and you're outside. To be fair, it is not advertised as a private pod and it is clear that there are other pods around you from the photos. So this was just an observation of our preferences. We would recommend this pod, but it isn't somewhere we would stay again because of the lack of privacy and the way others can access the through the gates and the low fences for the dogs. This was our 2nd stay at the flower pods. We had another beautiful stay. The pod was lovely and clean, and the surroundings was beautiful. Our girls loved the new addition of the park. We cannot wait to return again soon x

This was our 2nd visit, thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Daffodil has everything we needed for a wonderful holiday. Excellent enclosed safe garden for the dogs. Great location for lovely dog walks, beautiful scenery. Short drive to Rhayader where there are some gear pubs, will definitely come again.

Having previously stayed at Lily, we already knew we loved the location and that there are amazing views all around so we decided to try Dafodil, mainly because our two dogs are now getting much bigger! Dafodil was as expected - just wonderful! Lots of space with a fairly large secure garden for the dogs. The hot tub is a treat and the cabin is cosy and calming. We wouldn't change anything about it. This was our third visit and as we have very busy lives, this is the perfect place to switch off and relax, with pubs and shops just a short drive away. We also recommend visiting Elan Valley... wow! Stunning views and you can walk for miles! Thank you again, for another perfect stay. We will certainly be back!

We had such a lovely stay at Daffodil! The pod was perfect, lovely and warm and had everything we needed. The hot tub was an added bonus and was lovely to relax in after some lovely scenic walks (Elan Valley and the drive through the mountains is a must) family friendly, my son (8) and our pup loved it! Great space around the pod that’s secure and gated so the dog could have a run around. We honestly couldn’t fault anything, thank you so much and we can’t wait to come back ☺️

We had a lovely 3 nights in daffodil. Its very spacious and has everything you'd need. The only issue we found was that there was dog hair on everything so our clothes were covered. Apart from that it was the perfect stay and the hottub was the best we've been in!
