La Grange Périgourdine is about three hundred years old and is located in a one-hectare park in the western part of Les Joinies. It has been renovated; the exposed oak beams are a distinctive feature of this property, which has been converted into high-quality self-contained accommodations.
La Grange features a private 8m x 4m swimming pool located just a few meters from your patio. The pool is secured by an alarm and is also completely enclosed by a fence with a locked gate. There is private parking.
La Grange is completely self-contained, with views of the fields and woods. You may even have the pleasure of spotting foxes, badgers, hoopoes, woodpeckers, or buzzards... After dark, as you lie back on your lounge chairs, you can gaze up at a magnificent starry sky.
The living room is bright and spacious, with two sets of French doors opening onto your private patio. It features a leather sofa set and two armchairs, a flat-screen HD TV (with all free English-language channels), a DVD player, and a mini stereo system. A good selection of English books and board games is also provided. Wi-Fi.
Central heating and a fireplace with an insert make this an ideal property to rent in winter or fall.
The kitchen/dining room is fully equipped and features a washing machine, a dishwasher, a refrigerator/freezer, a large stove, a microwave, a kettle, an iron, and an ironing board. There is a table with four chairs.
La Grange has two bathrooms, one on the first floor and one adjoining one of the bedrooms on the first floor. Each bathroom includes a shower, toilet, and sink.
The double bedroom, which offers a beautiful view of the pool and garden, features a double bed and plenty of furniture. The second bedroom, which offers a beautiful view of the pool and garden, has twin beds that can be pushed together to form a large double bed. All beds are equipped with comforters and pillows.
Bed linens, dish towels, and one bath towel per person are provided. Pool towels are available for rent (€10 per towel)
Smoke detectors are installed upstairs and on the first floor.
