With superb views of the forest and valley, this property offers the best of all worlds - high quality housing enjoying the tranquility of the countryside and yet close to all the amenities and historical sites. The combination of exposed stones and beams and other original features make it a perfect combination of authenticity and modernity.
The front door opens onto a tiled corridor from which, on the left, is a large dining / living room with fireplace open and accessible. To the right of the entrance, the practically new kitchen with adjoining pantry, is absolutely well equipped. On the ground floor, the master bedroom with its independent bathroom is airy and bright. Its doors open onto the garden with pool view. From the living room, a staircase goes up to the other three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom / shower. The rooms are quite spacious.
In front of the house is a renovated building that houses laundry facilities.

This house was charming, and we loved our time there. It is an excellent base for exploring the Périgord and also an excellent place for sitting outside in the evenings with a glass of wine. The kitchen can actually be cooked in and has everything you need. The view from the house is lovely. Florence is great and helped to get us settled, and we could not have asked for a better stay.

We had a fabulous week, we were met by the lovely Florence when we arrived who showed us around and explained the property. The photographs online do not really do it justice and it exceeded our expectations.The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and all bathrooms had a hairdryer. The separate laundry room with an additional refrigerator was a bonus. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows if needed. The beautiful garden was huge and well maintained with stunning views over the valley. We all made good use of the pool and sun beds although the only feedback we would give was that the few parasols there weren’t really enough for good shade poolside and do not work fully. All in all we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the house and exploring the surrounding area.
