About this house rental
Welcome to this unique, private and newly renovated getaway at the centre of the Charleton Estate. The cottage is located in a peaceful location at the edge of the estate’s landscaped garden offering lots of space and access to wonderful woodland walks. The interior is tastefully decorated with period prints and furniture as well as all the modern comforts you require. Super cozy with the newly installed central heating as well as a log burning fire place. Pets very welcome with enclosed garden
Very private cottage which is ideal for the quite getaway. Private Golf course at the end of the driveway where we offer a free round of golf to guests staying 7 nights or moreotherwise 10% off golf tee times!
Very dog friendly with enclosed garden and core path walking trails that lead on through to the neighbouring estates.
Please note there is a £30 surcharge if you are wanting to charge up motor homes or electric cars.

It was a lovely cottage in a lovely location. I would have given it a 5 star but there was a couple of things that made it a 4 star rating. The postcode doesn’t take you to the location and it would have helped if there had been directions given to let you know that. I had to contact the seller to find out how I get in as well as directions when we got there. No hand towels were provided and there was 5 of us staying who all needed those for after washing our hair. Very bare minimum of things provided such as not enough wood for the log burner, no dishwasher tablets, no kitchen trays and only one toilet roll for 5 people. The bin hadn’t been emptied and when we tried to do that it was tearing so we left it.
However the cottage was very quirky and the estate that the cottage was on was beautiful. I have never seen so much pheasant and hearing the owls at night was very peaceful. The cottage was also close to the beach and not too far from St Andrew’s. Loved the location but just minor things missing that would have made it perfect.
